“Si-sino k-kayo? N-nasan ako?” simpleng tanong ni Kath pero halos manigas ako sa pwesto ko.
Para akong binagsakan ng sampung sako ng bigas sa ulo at pinagulungan ng truck ng limang beses. DeJoke lang. Pero...
She's kidding right? Hindi nman ganun kalala yung aksidente kaya bakit sya magkaka amnesia.
“Hehe. Bebe Kath? It's us. The It Boys Haha.” pabirong sabi pa nung Paolo ba yun?
“It boys? I don't know you . O-ouch! My head, it hurts like hell”-Sabi ni kath, sabay hawak sa ulo nya. NO, this isn't happening.
“Haha! Nice joke Princess, c'mon.. what do you want to eat? Hm. Do you want me to call the Doctor? How do you feel?” Sabay sabay na tanong ni Lance. Epal as always -.-
“No, I don't want anything. I want to get the hell out of here! Where's my Mom?” Kath asked while removing the dextrose and trying to stand.
“Princess? You don't really remember us? And.. your Mom? She already died 6 years ago.” Jude explained to her while trying to calm her. She stopped from moving and look at Jude with a cold stare.
“Died? Are you 'effin serious? Haha. Nice joke by the way..” Kath said in a very cold tone and tried to stand again, hindi na sya napigilan ni Jude.
“Kath...” I finally uttered a word after a decade.
She looked at me with disgust and a seconds later her facial expression changed. A blank one.
“oh? who the hell are you?” she asked and stand up but she sat on the bed again while holding her head and I guess it's kinda aching by the way she moves.
"Uhm. It's me, Daniel. I'm your friend and I'm also your cousin's bestfriend.” I said. Kinakabahan ako sa sasabihin nya, pakiaramdam ko may nag iba sa kanya. I don't think she's the Kath that I know, para syang demonyita sa pagkaka ngisi niya.
“ah...” sabi ni Kath tapos ngumisi ulit while still holding her head tapos yumuko ulit. Di ko nalang pinansin, baka masakit lang talaga ulo nya.
Lahat kami naghihintay ng next na sasabihin nya.
“where's my cousin Jul-” sabi ni kath but she was taken aback. Bigla syang tumigil sa sasabihin sana nya then she laid on the bed again.
Sabi na eh. May mali talaga. I smell something fishy, parang déjà vu? Kaso sa ibang babae ko nga lang naranasan 'to. Hmmm.
“I need a rest, my head is aching.” she said then close her eyes.
“wait here, i'll call the Doctor to check on you.” sabi ni Jude then he left the room.
A moment of an akward silence.
Yung mga friends ni Kath na kanina pa tumatawag ng Princess sa kanya ay kanina pa di umiimik. They are all intently staring at Kath while her eyes are shut parang naghihintay something weird na mangyari.
“Hm. ano ba talagang nangyari? How did she end up in this hospital bed? I know na car accident yung cause, pero ba't naaksidente si Kath?” tanong ko sa kanila, but I got no response at all.
