Chapter 1

Chapter 1 - Be the Light to my Darkness

"Hello, Elley." I was greeted by my friends, rather unexpectadly as I came in through the entrance of the Disco.

As I walked through, with my feet high on the heels of my shoes, my dress waving nearly every direction as I was walking through while everyone was busy dancing. The music was so loud, crashing against my ears, I suddenly felt dizzy and weak. As I fall onto the ground, not being able to move, I fall into a tight sleep. While I was asleep, I got caught in the middle of someones strong hands, as they carry me to the exit.

" Wake up! " I heard a male voice shouting, repeating himself.

As I opened my eyes, I was lying on the cold ground, on the street, right in front of the place the disco was taking part in, still the music so loud, I felt week, looking into the green eyes of the person who has just saved me.

" Who are you? " I asked curiously, but as I blinked, he had dissapeared.

" Who? You mean, me? " I heard his voice come, from behind me this time.

" Yes. " I reply. " Who are you. " I ask him again, but as I look behind me he had dissapeared into darkness, I feel like screaming for help, but something inside me said I shouldn't.

" My name is Harry. " I saw him flicker through some light, his curly hair lying just above his ear.

" M-m-m-m-y-y-y " I tried to respond, as he was drawing nearer to me, until he was right infront of me, smiling.

" Don't be afraid. " He smiled. " I saved you, while nobody else did. " He continued.

" A-re you Harry Styes? " I was shaking with fear.

" Yes. " He replied, looking down onto his shoes.

Slowly, feeling weeker and weeker, I couldn't feel my hands any longer, or my legs, and I slowly faint through the cold air, but awake as soon as he captures me in his arms.

" Let me bring you home, before you faint for the third time. " He told me, taking my hand, leaning into my shoulder, his bright curls tickling on my neck, as he wispered, " I will promise to keep you safe, okay? " I nodded still frightened, shaking with fear. I didn't know who he was, but he promised, and promises are never broken, unless something serious happens. Who was he? Why was he taking me home? Why did he save me?

It was eleven o'clock at night, dark, lamps shining like stars, silence growing stronger as we start walking in the grass to my house.

He leaned over to my ear, " You still haven't told me who you are, and I have told you my name. " He raised an eyebrow, caught hold of my wrist and spun me to face him, his eyes locked into mine.

" I'm Elley. " I said, looking down, as I didn't want to look into his eyes. 

" Nice name, I love it. "

I smiled, looking up at him, he was beautiful, but I thought I wasn't good enough for him. As I pushed my long black hair behind my shoulder, I snapped my hand out of his. I took out my phone and dialled my mothers number.
