17 year old Joey stuffed his hands in his pocket and walked out the door. He felt the sharp wind against his face as he walked to his woods in no hurry. His mind drifted off as her heard the rhythmic thud of his feet hitting the ground. He lived alone in a small apartment, with a small income to match. As Joey walked by the abandoned building, he was struck with a memory. He saw himself at age 12, with about three or four of his "friends" who were daring him to go into the abandoned building. "Come on, chicken!" As they urged him to go in, two of them made clucking noises. There had always been reports of howling and moaning and sometimes screaming coming from that building. Everyone said it was haunted.
And then the memory ended.

It was almost a full moon tonight, it would probably be full in a day or two.
He realized he had put headphones in but never pressed play on his music. He did so and at that moment heard something crack. He figured it was something in the song, so he kept walking.

He was just about to turn back, as it was now 1 AM and he had school tomorrow, but between the song changes, he heard another crack. He took one of his headphones out and listened for a few seconds.
Hearing nothing, he again shrugged it off, although he left one out this time.
About five minutes later, he tripped over a tree knee in the path. He gathered himself up and found himself fave to face with a stark white wolf.
