FOREWORD

when cordelia hale wakes up in the middle of a castle called hogwarts, with no recollection of anything but her name, and an odd, unfamiliar conscience, all she wants is control over her mind, but she soon realizes that control isn't as easily purchased as she might have believed.

dear readers,

if you haven't just recently followed me, then you know that i previously had a harry potter golden era fanfiction called give me glory. (it's still up if you're reading this on the day this was posted.) anyway, that book had been around for a while, since i was much younger, so obviously my writing was absolutely horrid.

i had been trying to sustain that fanfic for a long while, just because i liked the plot so much, but only recently did i realize that i could just rewrite it with a new and improved plot, but the same baseline story, and so down give me glory went.

i'd now like to present to you CONTROL, a marauder's era fanfic. I HOPE YOU ENJOY.

(p.s. i would just like to announce that i am in no way british. i have never been outside the british airport, i have never stepped foot on british grass, and regardless of how good my british accent is, i don't know shit about british slang except that they say 'bloody' and 'rubbish' and 'fools' a lot. please just ignore how dreadfully american this sounds and just pretend that it seems british. thanks for your cooperation.)
