After I hung up on Eliza, I turned my phone off once more, then I vomited again. It was like this entire day was just an endless loop of phone calls and puke. All this stress was completely fucking up my stomach.

There was a knock on the door, so I nervously answered it. I was relieved to see it was just Kristin. Whenever she wanted to hang out, she just showed up now. That was cool.

"Hey Sky. I heard that things Gerard weren't going too well, so I figured you'd want some company," she said.

"You were right. I'm super fucking lonely," I sighed, but then I smiled at her. She hugged me before I could say anything else.

I felt my stomach growl, and I just now realized how starving I was. I had been so hungry lately. It was weird.

Kristin and I ordered a pizza, then we sat on the couch and waited for it. We mostly just talked about all the average girly shit as we waited for the pizza.

"I've been having really weird, vivid dreams lately," I admitted with a chuckle.

She gave me a strange look, as if she thought of some bad news or something, but then she shook it off.

"Any hot ones?" she joked. "Nah, I'm just kidding."

I giggled. "Sometimes," I admitted. She smirked and laughed.

"Eh, we all have some dirty dreams when we miss our men. It's normal," she said.

I chuckled slightly. "Yeah, true."

"Was he better in your dreams than he was in real life?" she asked jokingly.

"I don't know. It's probably pretty equal. He's really good in real life," I giggled. Kristin and I definitely weren't shy when it came to conversations like this.

"Nice! Get some!" she joked.

"I wish I could still 'get some.' That's like all I miss about him," I joked again.

"Who needs men for that?" she asked, which made me burst out laughing.

Then the pizza arrived. I happily paid for it, then I immediately quickly downed a slice. My appetite had been crazy lately. It probably wasn't smart to eat this much after I puked twice today, but I didn't care.

"Sorry I'm like pigging out right now. My appetite has been fucking huge lately," I apologized.

Kristin giggled. "It's fine," she reassured me, as she grabbed a slice of pizza for herself. Suddenly it seemed like something occurred to her as she saw me down another slice of pizza. She set her slice down and grabbed my arm as she led me to the door.

"Wait, where are we going?" I asked.

"We're going go the store. There's something important we need to buy."

I was confused, but I still followed her. She led me all the way to Mikey's car, then she drove us to a pharmacy.

I didn't know what we were buying, but I was starting to get a little worried.

What did she realize that made her drive me here so quickly? What could be that important?

Then my heart skipped a beat as she led me to an aisle containing the one things I didn't plan on needing for a long, long time. I definitely wasn't ready for this. I was fucking terrified.

Pregnancy tests.
