"Livy it's time to come in and eat," called my mom from inside the house.

Since it was October holiday we ate later than we usually would.

"I'm coming mom"I called while running across our farm.

As I was running towards my house out of the corner of my eye I caught a glance at my horse. Something seemed different about her. I walked towards her something seemed different. Then I looked on her left side and saw that some hair was falling out. I looked in her eyes and saw that they were red.I slowly walked away and started toward my house again.

I came in to see my dad, my mom and my grandparents sitting on the brown dining chairs staring at me.

"Well it's about time" said my grandpa

"Sorry" I said.

I sat down next to my dad. There was a silence for at least 30 seconds. My grandpa broke the silence by saying

"Can you please pass the potatoes"

My dad handed the white bowl of freshly baked potatoes to my grandpa.

"Thank you" said my grandpa

The chicken was placed in front of so I took the metal spoon and scooped up a piece with not bone in it and gently placed it down on my plate.

I passed it to my mom,she smiled at me.

After dinner passed every one handed their plates to me so that I could put it in the sink. I took half of them and gently placed it in the sink. As I was walking out of the kitchen I caught another glimpse of my horse through the window. I walked out of the kitchen and go the rest of the plates and also put them in the sink.

I rushed to my grandpa that was now sitting on the brown sofa chair. " I saw Chloe and her eyes are red and her hair is falling out" I exclaimed to my grandpa.

"Ok I think that you should brush her everyday and keep her in a stall till she gets better" said my grandpa

"Ok" I replied

I rushed to my room and went to my closet.I opened it and picked out my favorite pink nightgown that had a picture of a lily on it. I took my nightgown to the bathroom and got a towel out of the closet. I turned on the shower water and waited for it to get hot. I got in and started washing my hair with lavender scented shampoo that I got for my birthday last year. I wanted to save it but I ran out of shampoo so I had to use it or else my mom would buy me unscented shampoo. I rinsed it off and got out of the shower. I dried myself off and put on my nightgown. It felt like a heap of clouds had just been dumped on me. It was so silky smooth that I started daydreaming that I never had to take it of and could wear it forever and ever. But before I could finish my daydream I heard a loud "BASH" and glass shattering.

I ran out of my bathroom and into the kitchen. I came in to a rock lying on the floor and glass from the window shattered all over the floor.

"What happened I asked my grandma

"That troublemaking little boy,Jim next door must have thrown the rock through the window.

"I'll go and teach him a lesson" shouted my grandpa

"No" my mom said angrily " The last thing we want is to get our neighbors angry because our other neighbors already hate us because they keep saying that we were the people who stole their chicken" " So can everyone just calm down and take a seat" "I'll ask John if he can fix it tomorrow because he has the day off but for now we'll just put some tape over it so bugs don't fly in"

My grandpa walked outside and into the shed to get the dark grey duck tape. He walked back into the house, passed me and into the kitchen. He pulled a long stip of tape and cut it with a scissor. He place one edge of the tape on one side or the window and pulled it along until it reached the other side of the window. He repeated that process layer after layer until finally about 10 minutes later he announced that he was done.
