Hi, My names Augustina, but you can call me August. I am in 10th Grade at Baybridge in North Carolina. I have ADHD. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 7. People make fun of me because of my condition, they say that 'The ADHD is taking over me and that I have to calm down' but no one understands what it's like for me, it is effecting me, I used to think that if I didn't think about it, it would go away. It doesn't. I always felt like I was depressed but no one ever saw it in me. I faked a smile to cover up the tears that were burning down my red cheeks.

Three years ago I was in a car crash with my mother, father and brother. My mum sadly pasted away and my dad is in a coma. I now live with my brother, Ethan. He turns 19 this month.

I knew this guy, when I was in middle school. He was the only person that understood me. I told him everything, opened up to him. I would cry every night but no one could ever hear me. Everything is never right for me. Opening up to him was a form of comfort to me. It was like having a diary but having someone to answer your questions and help you.

His name was Dylan, he was your typical band geek with a sense of humor. He would always wear those sloppy jeans, dirty converse and a thick maroon jumper with some random band name like Arctic Monkeys, he never changed his hair no matter what. His best mate is Jack, but he called Jax. Whenever I hung out with Dylan, Jax would weirdly never be around. I would see Dylan everyday so I found it strange when I never saw Jax at his house. At school I never really got the chance to see Dylan because he would always be with Jax but I didn't really mind because I would see him after school anyway.
