Her Fake Fiancé

Ch. 2 Destiny

Chapter 2

"England?" They said in unison.

"England" I said sitting down in one of the chairs. "For my sisters wedding". They look at me with wide eyes. "I thought you hated your sister and wasn't going to go" Gabe said with a mouth full of noodles so it came out weird. "I wasn't" I sigh,

"What did she do? Is she making you go? I bet she is isn't she!" Tammy asked. "She wants to see my fiance!" I slam my head onto the table. "She thought he was fake so I got defensive because he was my fiance before we stopped seeing each other. She always has to be better than me in anyway possible!" I bang my head into the table again. "I'm going to be humiliated in front of my whole family!"

"Not if you don't go" Gabe says grabbing my noodles and starts eating them. Can't he see I'm depressed! Then he goes and takes my food, you don't do that to a girl! I grab my noodles back from him. "No! That will give her even more reason to suspect I'm single again"

"But you are" I give him a glare and he shuts up. "I know that but she doesn't. I can't give her the satisfaction of knowing that!" I huff out.

"I have a idea! Remember that blonde girl Gabe dated." Tammy asked. "Your going to have to be a little more specific" He said laughing. "I don't remember her name! I just remember hating her" she said with her hands on her hips "She was such a bi-" luckly i stopped her on time.

"How about Gabe names off names and see if one rings a bell" I suggest. "Okay, let me see there was Katherine, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Mimi, Alex, Alexis, Mya, Beth, Destiny, Lilly, Frankie" Tammy stopped him. "That's it!"

"Frankie?" He asks "No, Destiny. The one who lives in England!" She smilled wildly like she had a crazy idea. "What about her?" I ask "How can she help out in this situation?"

"Well I have a idea and she might be able to help us!" She says excitedly. "Whats the idea?"

"A fake fiance!" She tells us as if it was obvious. "Fake fiance?" I asked concerned.

"Yeah someone who can be your petend fiance for the wedding. They don't have to know!" She stood up from the table and started pacing. "Why couldn't I be her fake fiance?" Gabe asks. "Because they know you guys are best friends and would find out immediatly that you guys aren't actually together."

"Again, Why do we need Destiny for this?" I ask exausted. "Thats a great question! We need Destiny because we have know one else here who would be able to go to England and be yor fiance. We can ask Destiny if she knows someone." She says in a confident way.

"What if she doesn't" I asked leaning back in my chair. "At least we tried"

I sit thinking. What if she doesn't even remember us! What if she Des but doesn't have someone. If she does things might go wrong! My parents could find out or worse my sister could find out first. "Its worth a shot" Gabe says smiling at me. I look at Tammy and she shakes her head up and down, smiling like a maniac.

"I guess" I say standing up.

"Yes! Okay, Gabe and I'll try to ind out her phone number or something. In the mean time you-" She points at me. "-need to get to sleep. You look like a ugly raccoon" She says then both of them start laughing.

"Feeling the love" I say as I head upstairs.

As I get to my bed I fall down on my bed and close my eyes thinking about Chase. It's silly how much I miss that cheating liar.

"Jennifer?" A sweet voice says in my ear. I groan and shove my face into my pillow. "Come on Jenny! Today is a special day!" He says pulling the covers off of me. I shot straight up when the cold air hit my legs. "Chase that wasn't funny!" I say hitting him playfully in the arm.

"Good morning to you to sleeping beauty" He chuckles and kisses my cheek. I smile and kiss him. "Good morning" I say getting up to get ready. "Come down stairs when your done. I have something special planned!" He walks out off the room. I smile brightly and get ready.

As I'm walking down stairs I smell the ms delicious food in the world. Waffles. I run down stairs and peek into the kitchen. I see Chase making bacon, waffles, and eggs. I may or may not have laughed when I saw burnt eggs and pieces of bacon in the trash.

He turns around embarrassed. "We have like, four eggs left now and two pieces of bacon." He laughs nervously and rubs his hand on the back of his neck, he does that when he gets embarrassed. I kiss him on the cheek. "Let me cook before you burn down the house!" I flip the eggs that where already on the skillet.

I put our breakfast down on the table and sit down on Chase's lap. "Thanks for making breakfast." He rubs his neck again. "I tried to make it romantic but that never seems to work out." 

That was true our first date was a train wreck. He tried to be romantic and It didn't exactly work out to his benefit. First he made a reservation for  dinner at the wrong restaurant. Second he tried to drive us to the wright restaurant and we ended up getting lost.

Finally his car broke down near a lake far away from the city. We got out of the car and headed towards the lake. The view was absolutely stunning! He had a blanket in the car that we could sit on and watch the glittering moon.

We sat there for a few hours talking about ourselves. I fell asleep on his chest and he laied his head on mine.

When I woke up his hands where wrapped around me and I was pressed against his chest. After he woke up he called someone to tow his car to his house and we hitched a ride. So the worst first date turned into the best.

I woke up to the sound of screaming.

I rushed downstairs to find Tammy running around screaming in excitement, well it looked like she was excited. When she finally saw me he ran up and huged me making me deaf by screaming in my ear saying "There should be an award for #1 best friends because I should have that title!" She jumped up and down.

"What happened?" I asked wiping sleep out of my eyes. "Me and Gabe spent all night trying to finder Destiny's number and we found it!!" We both looked over at Gabe and he was asleep. He had his hand on his chin and his elbows on the table. "Okay, Ifound Destiny's number. I tried to wake you up but you didn't even flinch when I banged to frying pans together next to your ear."

"And" I made a gesture telling her to go on. She rolled her eyes "I've always hated her. You know this. She said she wouldn't do anything to help." Tamika said. I frown "If she said she wouldn't help then why are you happy?"

She smiled "After we fought some more I told her she'd get to see Gabe again and she changed her mind." We look at each other than at Gabe and start laughing.

Tammy goes over to Gabe and knocks his arm over. His head hit the table with a loud thunk. "What the fuck was that for!" Gabe screamed. She just smiles and chuckles in a dark voice. "I wanted to see your head crack open and your brains fly everywhere, but that didn't happen did it? Consider yourself lucky" She walks to the fridge and gets some frozen waffles out.

Gabe rubs his forehead and looks at Tammy likes she's lost all sanity which wouldn't be far from the truth. I laugh and sit down next to Gabe and the scent of waffles fills the kitchen. Gabe looks at me and asks "Are you okay?" he says with a serious voice which we rarely get to here so when he says it Tammy stops what shes doing and sits down with us. "What's up Jenny? Something wrong?" She says seriously.

"I'm just a bit worried about whats going to happen when we get to England. That's all" I say getting up to get the waffles that just popped up out of the toaster.

I looked at them and Tammy nodded her head. Gabe didn't look like he believed me but didn't push the subject. "So how are we going to meet Destiny?" Gabe said trying to change the mood in the room.

"Good question" Tammy starts off. "We are meeting her at a club"
