Chapter 1

(16 & Pregnant)

SG: Hi my name is Shenae Grimes i'm 16, and currently pregnant and on my own. My boyfriend left me when I told him I was pregnant he denied the baby and left his name is Jaylen Davis. When I was with him he was in the drug business I guess he still is I haven't talk to him. I live in Bronx,NY. It's tuff being pregnant with no one their to support me. My mother (Louise Grimes) let me stay with her until she found out I was pregnant she told me to get out. My father who died in a car accident (Jeffrey Grimes) last year. He would have made me either get an abortion or put it up for adoption, I wouldn't do either. (Shenae goes to her mothers house)

LG: Shenae how are you doing says Louise?

SG: Mom I fine I just wanted to come over and talk to you about how to be a good single mother.

LG: Well sure I guess we could have a little talk about good decision's and bad decision's. First Shenae the one wrong thing that you did was get pregnant at a young age I raised you better than this, and with that young boy that was out there selling them drugs (Louise starts shaking her head in confusion)

SG: Mom why do you always throw that in my face I can't stand this stupid shit I was dumb to do that yeah I know you need to stop bringing it up gosh!!!

Chapter 2

( Secrets & Lies)

LG: First of all young lady don't you ever talk to me like that I bend over backwards for you. I'm your mother and your the child. You understand me?

SG: Yeah whateva. What about your little secret huh, you being rapped at the age of 14 by your Uncle!! why didn't you tell your mama? WHY MAMA!?!?

LG: I had to keep that to myself I couldn't tell my mama she wouldn't have nothing else for me to do. (Louise starts to cry)

SG: Mama why are you crying I should be the one crying you want me to grow up on my own. The only thing I don't understand about you is why didn't you tell someone? You know what forget it I don't care any more (Shenae goes upstairs to her room and slams the door).

SG: (Shenae calls her friend Tamika) hey girl can you please come get me I need to talk to you, I'm at home

T: Yeah girl we can go to the park or something.

SG: Ok cool I just really need to get out this house.

T: I know what you mean I'll be there in 15 minutes.

SG: Alright (Shenae hangs up the phone).

15 minutes later Tamika pulls up. Shenae runs out her room and tell's her mom bye.

T: Hey girl what's up?

SG: My life girl my life (Tamika pulls off)

They pull up at the Community Park, they get out the car and walk to the swings.

SG: *sighs* girl every since I got pregnant my life has been basically over with I don't know what to do. Lately all me and my mother do is argue and fight, I have no support or help.

T: Girl look if you want your life to be better the best thing for you to do is when this baby gets her put it up for adoption that would be best for you and that baby. That's my best advice for you girl.

SG: Well...I don't know to do at all with my life.
