PART FOUR
“We sure do need to talk! What on Earth are you? And why did you almost kill me?!” He asked getting a little mad.
“First, calm down; Second, werewolf; Third, that was my wolf taking over, and you tried shooting me so it was self defense. And have you told anyone about, you know, last week? I asked.
“No, and how do I know it was you?”
“Well, try throwing that axe at me and you’ll see.” He grabbed the axe and threw it straight at me. I grabbed it in mid-air, like I did when he shot that arrow.
“It really was you.”He said, shocked.
“Yes but you can’t tell anyone. Okay?” he nodded a yes. “Good, well I need to go, bye”
“Bye.” Then I left. I walked out of the woods and went home.
“Red, is that you?” My dad asked, coming out of the kitchen.
“Yush.”
“We need to talk.” He said, sitting in the living room.
“Okay.” I sit across from him.
He smirked, “I know what you are.” My face paled. What how does he know? “Don’t worry Red, I’m one too.” He said with the same smirk.
“So you’re the reason I’m like this!” I yelled at him.
“It’s not something to be ashamed of,” He said, trying to be reassuring.
“YES, yes it is! You’re the reason I’m a freaking WEREWOLF! You hear me W-E-R-E-W-O-L-F! This is your entire fault!” I screamed at him.
“Now Red, calm down. It’s an honor being what we are.”
“No, being hunted all the time in not an honor!” I got up to leave but he grabbed my upper ar. I growled in warning get him to let go.
“Now Red, you’ll accept what you are! And Don’t. You. Ever. Growl. At. Me. Again!” He hisses, but with that I forced my wolf out and shifted immediately. “Red, you don’t know what you are doing. I am stronger and more experience than you.”
“You want to bet? Let’s see what you got father!” With that, I launched myself at him and tackled him to the ground. He threw me off with his hind legs, and sent me flying. I crashed into the front door. Luckily it didn’t break… Yet… I got up just in time to brace myself as my father and I went flying through the front door and outside.
“You want to dance daughter? Well then let’s see how good you really are.” He said. I learned how to talk through my mind so I can talk to humans. He got up and took off running, with me not too far behind. I picked up my pace and ran faster; I leaped up and tackled him to the ground. I heard the screams of people, which tells me that we’re in the town. I look up and spot the three people that I wish weren’t here. Raven, Titus, and Kayden all stood there with shocked expressions plastered on their faces. I was caught off guard and that gave my Father a chance to send me flying across the air and into a store. I groaned in pain and opened my eyes just in time for my father to grab me by the neck. I clawed at his hand to let go but he wouldn’t.
“Hey! You there, let her go!” Kayden screamed at my father.
“You told them Red?” He asked coldly, his voice laced with nothing but venom.
“I didn’t tell, I swear, he found out.” I said trying to protect the boy’s and I.
“Sure…” He said sarcastically not believing one word.
“Didn’t you hear me, I said Let. Her. Go! NOW!” Kayden started coming towards us, he whispered something to Raven and Titus. They both nodded and went running somewhere together. “Now are you going to listen or am I going to have to force you?” I looked up to see Raven in a building window to the right with a bow and arrow and to the left the same thing but with Titus instead. My father’s grip just got tighter and lifted me up off the ground.
“You’re pathetic, Red. See, you can’t even beat me!”
“Let me go!”
“No!”
“Yes, before you get us both killed.” He wouldn’t let go and Kayden notice because he made a signal for both Raven and Titus, and they both shot at my father. They both hit him and that got him angry. He threw me across and towards a brick wall. I fell to the ground, not able to move. I saw my father run off somewhere and I felt someone else pick me up and carry me to a house.
I noticed that it was Raven carrying me.
“Don’t worry Red.” With that, the blackness took over and I fell asleep. Later that evening, I woke up in a different bed.
“Ah, Red, you’re awake, good.” Someone said. They came out from the darkness and it was Kayden.
“Kayden where’s Raven?” I asked, trying to sit up but ending up just groaning in pain.
“Don’t get up yet, and he went and took Titus home and went home as well to get something. He’ll be back soon. But, I think you should go back to sleep.” I did what he said and went back to sleep. I was awoken again but, by the sound of people fighting. I got up, wincing at the pain but, ignored it anyways. I open the door to see Raven and Kayden fighting. Great.
“Let me see her! She’s not your girlfriend!” Raven yelled but stopped before he punched him.
“What’s going on here?” I asked curiously.
“You’re awake?” they both asked in unison. Ugh, I hate when they do that, it’s so annoying.
“No, I’m sleep walking… Yes, I’m awake!” I said sarcastically.
“Sarcastic much?” Kayden snickered. I was about to punch him until Raven grabbed my wrist.
