Chapter 1 A New Baby

Molly WeasleyPOV - chapter 1- a new baby 6 hrs after Ginny's birth

I had just put my beautiful baby girl to sleep, when the front door was knocked. I went down to the door only to find no one there. As I was about to shut the door I heard something crying, I looked down to see a baby wrapped up in a blanket. I picked the baby up and noticed that she was a few hours old. She started to cry again.

"shh, don't cry I'm hear" I whispered. The baby opened up her big brown eyes to look at me before smiling at me and started to grab for my hand and to suck on it. When I took her inside I noticed that she had a locket around her neck I opened it up and there was a name engraved on it said Gwendolyn.

"Arthur quickly, get down hear" I said. Gwendolyn started to cry so I picked her up and rocking her back and fourth.

"What is it Molly is Ginevra alright?" Arthur said as he ran down the stairs. When he saw Gwendolyn in my arms he froze.

"Arthur this is Gwendolyn, I found her on our front doorstep, I looked around for her parents or someone but no one was there." I said. Gwendolyn suddenly woke up and looked at Arthur and smiled and reached out to him.

He smiled at her and came over to her to look at her.

"She looks just like you. Brown eyes, red hair. I think she will fit in." He said as he looked in her basket that I found her in. He pulled out an envelope that was addressed to us. Arthur opened it and read it through and then gave it to me it said

Dear Mr and Mrs Weasley

Congratulation on your new arrival, I'm sorry that I have to give you another. This is Gwendolyn Gwenevere Dumbledore. Yes she is a Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore is her Grandfather, Molly you knew me at Hogwarts, the only reason that I am giving you Gwendolyn is because he-who-must-not-be-named followers are after her powers, that she will get when she reaches the age of 5 and you are the only one I can now trust. I am truly sorry but I am far away and it's too dangerous to look after my darling girl and that I can't tell you more about her powers. She is still a witch and I will be expecting great things from her and for you to treat her as your own.

"Oh poor Gwenevere, having to give up her baby because of you know who, I suppose that we should call her Ginevra's twin. She looks like her except her eyes but we cant help that, so its not going to be a problem. I'll put her to sleep in Ginevras room" i kissed Arthur and he kissed Gwendolyn on the forehead and i took her in to her new room to sleep.
