My lady

Marinette sat in her classroom, daydreaming. She watched the clouds go by as her teacher dragged on the lesson. Five minutes pass, twenty, an hour. She sighs wishing the class would be over soon. Bam! A loud noise shook the classroom. Marinette jumped and looked around. "What was that?" She thought. Just then a scream was heard from the courtyard. Marinette jumped up and looked outside the window as a student was being terrorized. She glanced around the room, everyone was too distracted by the scene to see her escape. She ran down the hall, and paused. She took a moment and and transformed into the superhero Ladybug! She ran out to the courtyard but it was too late. It had escaped. She sighed in frustration and looked around. "Hello my lady." A voice called to her, she jumped and looked behind her. "Oh, it's only you Chat." She said and sighed. "Looks like it's gone for now but I know it will be back." She said. "And if it does decide to come back, I'll make sure to take it down!" Chat said with enthusiasm. Ladybug folded her arms and shook her head. "Jeez.." She mumbled and raced off to find the akuma.

That night, Ladybug sat perched on a building's roof, surveying the area. "You know," Chat said, breaking the silence. "Since we are all alone we could just hang out. Just you me and the-" "shh!" Ladybug interrupted. "Listen.." They both went silent as a quiet laughing was heard. They both looked around for the source of sound. "Ladybug!" Was the last thing she heard before getting smacked in the head, sending her tumbling down the roof, out cold. Chat jumped and catches her hand before she could fall further. He looked and glared at the Akuma with his peircing green eyes. "You'll pay for hurting my lady." He growled then helped Lady up and laid her somewhere safe on the roof while he fought. After a few minutes battling on the roof, the akuma, in circus attire, bowed his hand and vanished. Chat rushed over to make sure Lady was okay. She was bleeding from the head. Chat looked around panicked and tried to heal her the best her could with limited supplies. "I'm so sorry my lady...I'm so sorry..."

Marinette woke the next day with the worst headache. She sighed and got up and got dressed for school. She walked into school and saw Adrien. She smiled a little and walked over to him. "Hey, did you finish the homework? I was..busy last night and i didn't finish." She said nervously. He nodded and got it out for her. "Here.." She looked at him puzzled. He was usually quiet and reserved but never this quiet. He seemed depressed or sad. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Yeah...I'm fine.." He replied and sat as class began. After around 40 minutes another horrified shriek was heard. The same events played out but this time both Chat and Lady made it in time to fight. Chat looked at her concerned. "You shouldn't fight.." He said. Lady just looked at him and smiled. "I'll be okay." Then ran into battle with her yo-yo spinning it and fighting. Chat smiled and followed in suit with his staff. None of them could have seen what happened next..

The akuma began to shoot beams from his wand. The both jumped around and tried to avoid them. Both heroes were getting very tired. Chat collapsed to his knees and watches his lady fight with endless energy. "Out of my way!" The akuma roared and pushed her to the side and moved toward the other weaked hero. "It's over for you, kitty." It said and laughed then pointed it's wand at him. "Any last words?" It asked. He was too tired to answer, all he did was bow his head in defeat. The akuma laughed and shot the beam but it never reached him. "When I met you...I promised I would protect you til the very...end.."

"Lady!" He screamed, but it was too late. She had taken the blow for him. She collapsed infront of him, pale. A new anger filled him and he attacked filled with rage, destroying the akuma with one blow. He rushed over to and held her close. "L-lady? Lady please wake up....please..I need you.." He hugged and held her close. He began to cry and both their transformations wore off. Tikki arose from Marinette's earrings. He looked down at her. "M-Marinette..?" He looked at her and held her body close to him. "It was you all along..." He cried and screamed. He partner and crush. Gone.

He swore to himself that day, he would never let any akuma hurt anyone he loved. He clutched the necklace that had been made from her earrings and kissed it and stood watching over the city. The city he swore to protect in her honor. "I will always love you..my lady." He said as he lept from building to building to fight.
