Mama said that's what we needed. And she was right.(said in a thick cajun accent). She said that we needed to get out of this house. This ragged, old lookin' house. Altogether me, her and...him. Mama married this mysterious man names Henry. Henry hated our house, I liked our little cabin in the bayou. Personally I like to be in the backwoods than the big city. But then again it was falling apart, mold everywhere and just bad altogether. We needed a new house I guess. "Hey Moonie, can you come here for a sec?" I herd from the other side of the house in my Mothers voice "yea Moma" I said in reply.
Oh yeah, I'm Moonie
I walk quickly up to my Mother. "Yes Maim?" "Can you pack all your stuff in bags?" My mama asked politely. Probably because she knew I wanted to stay. "Yes ma'im" I said my hand squeezed so tight my long nails made marks in my thick healthy skin.  We got in our 2006 Mazda and hoped to Baton Rouge.
