"Mom! Why do we have to fly all the way to California for a family we don't even know!?" I exclaim
"Phil, there old friends of mine from highschool, they have a son your age! You'll live! Now hush we have a long drive to the airport."
I sigh I really would rather be here with my friends. 12 days in a most likely crap hotel with shitty wifi and a strangers I don't even know, thanks mom.
I put my earphones in and let the music blast, seriously this vacation sucks already.
