(Third pov)

The storm grew. It was a heavy gale, blinding snow, and a chill that would freeze you to the bone.

That was all sans had for a body. Bones. It was the 10 year anniversary of frisk leaving. It was a day of sorrow and joy. But for sans, it was just sorrow.

(Sans pov)

"Ten dam years..." I said fully aware that I was alone. I missed the kid. I wasn't joking either. She was good with a conversation.

This storm was really just a cherry on top of a crap Sunday. It started off with goat mom crying a whole lake.

After that we went back to our place for dinner. Before dinner though I called up the kid. As usual she didn't anwser.

Papyrus always made spaghetti and it was no different today. I felt depressed. I sat at the table looking down at the table. Papyrus set a plate infront of me.

"No Papyrus... I'm not hungry." But papyrus being the person he is never stops. "COME ON BRO! ITS SO GOOD!" He was practically shoving it in my face. Soon I got annoyed at him trying to force me to eat. "I DON'T WANT YOUR DAM SPAGHETTI" I flipped the plate over sending spaghetti everywhere.

Soon papyrus was crying and goat mom had to settle him down from crying. I grabbed my jacket and ran into the deep woods. Then this storm picked up. And now I'm here.

I should have ate now that I think about it. Even skeletons get hungry. I was thinking about turning around and apologizing to Papyrus, but that option was thrown off the table. I turned back to see my footprints had already been covered in fresh snow.

"Dam..." I whispered to myself. I was lost and that was a fact. I couldn't even see a foot in front of me. I tried to warm my self with flaming bones but the wind just put them out. Now I was scared.

"HELP!!!" I found myself yelling out loud but my voice was drowned out in the wind. I knew there was a pun to be made, but nobody was there to hear it. So I just giggled to myself.

Just then I hit something. It wasn't a tree because it didn't have any bark. I felt along it and I figured it out. It was a cabin. There was no doubt about it.

I felt around it until I found a door. I jiggled the handle but it was no use. "locked..." I whispered. I soon became desperate. I rammed against the door with my shoulder. Each time I felt more pain.

On the 7th attempt the door flung open. I was inside. Away from the onslaught of snow. Away from the howling gale. Away from the sharp cold.

I lit a fire in the fireplace with some flaming bones. I needed food. All I had was a half eaten candy bar. So I got up to explore the cabin. Naturally I checked the kitchen first, but of course some scavengers beat me to it.

Anything that was there was rotten. And anything that wasn't rotten was probably gone. After I checked the whole cabin I came back to the fire place empty handed. I ate the few bites of chocolate I had.

Just then I heard a crash. Almost like a plate breaking. It came from the kitchen. I waked in guided by the light of a flaming bone. Everything was where it was supposed to be. Except a stone.

A red stone shaped roughly like a heart. Of course my first thought was to pick it up, and I was too lazy to think of anything else. So I picked it up.

Almost instantly the stone started to glow, and the room spun. I felt tingly. I felt something covering my whole body. Then I blacked out.

(Frisk pov)

I just got in as the rain started. I just got back from my part time job as a librarian. I was carrying two small bags of groceries into my apartment building. The small apartment complex I lived in had 4 floors and I was on 4.

It was nothing special, but it met all my standerds. They weren't that high. The kitchen was very tiny and so was the bedroom but it wasn't like I was housing 5 people.

I quickly started making dinner for myself. Spaghetti and meat balls. It was ten years ago when I left the undergrowth. I miss every second of that time. Tori caring for me, Papyrus making me food, I even missed Sans' puns. I could listen to one of his puns. I knew I was bored then.

But I miss Sans the most to be honest. Tori always took care of me but Sans kinda felt like a guardian to me. Always ready to protect, never leaving my side, he even payed at Grilbies all the time.

It was silent in my appartment. Even I couldn't break the silence. I needed Sans, he could break the silence.
