"Hello?" Eeyore called out gloomily, nudging Winnie The Pooh's door open.
"Oh dear..." He heard his friend call out. Eeyore trudged around to the direction of the voice and called out again
"Anybody home?"
Nobody answered but he could hear a muffled munching noise and he suspected that his friend was eating honey again. Eeyore sighed and walked over, only to gasp and back track immediately. Christopher Robin was there, well, partially. Winnie had severed his head and was in the process of scooping out the brain matter. Eeyore felt bile rise in his throat as he clumsily ran out the door. Winnie chuckled and pulled his tail in hopes of bringing him close enough to eat. Eeyore lurched toward the door, losing his tail in the process. He bolted as fast as he could to Rabbit's house, pleasantly surprised to see everyone there.
"Help! Help me!" He cried out hoarsely, causing them all to turn around and stare at him.
"He-He's gone mad!" Eeyore cried, eyes watering.
"What?" Kanga shouted, alarmed.
"Winnie! He ki-"
"Don't be silly, Eeyore!" Owl laughed, dismissing him with a flap of his wings.
"But!-" Rabbit interrupted him and sternly remarked
"That's enough." Eeyore slipped outside and the world faded to black for a minute and a sharp pang hit him in the chest.
"He's gone...I don't exist anymore." Eeyore cried.
He heard Winnie laugh, and it wasn't his normal laugh, no it was a maniac, murderers laugh. All around him he heard scream, screams from the people he wanted to protect.
"Oh, Eeyore!" He cringed and backed up, his butt hitting something wet and...squishy. The world flew into colour again and Eeyore felt his stomach heave. Roo...he was so young, but here he was with his stomach ripped open and his mouth in a scream that will remain eternally silent.
Eeyore felt something breathing on his ear and his legs buckled.
"We're gonna have fun, aren't we?" Winnie laughed as he pulled out a blood stained knife Eeyore couldn't move. Not even as the knife sunk further into his skin, causing him to scream. Winnie dragged it out, he wanted to make Eeyore smile for once.
"Smile." He barked out
Eeyore now had cuts littering his whole body and as he felt his life drain out of him he whispered
"Help."
Winnie snapped his head towards and looked at his former friend. A war went on in his eyes as he struggled to take hold. His eyes brightened and just like that, he was back.
"Excuse my brother." Winnie mumbled abashedly before looking up. He gasped at the sight of Eeyore and comprehension lot his face.
"Oh no, everyone..." He started to cry and Eeyore slipped away into the nothingness, finally finding peace.
"I'm so sor-" Winnie cut himself off with a strangled cry the sight of Eeyore, now dead, drove him to the edge of the hundred acre woods, where he hung himself. And the spirits of all these tormented souls still haunts that cursed place, which is exactly why you don't want to find the hundred acre woods. You could be unlucky and have already been there, you wouldn't know. But you will when they hunt you down in a few days.
