Katie opened her locker to find strawberry milk with a post-it-note sticking on it inside her locker. She took the post-it-note that says: “Do you like strawberry milk?” She took out her sharpie pen and she started to write her reply on the post-it-note, “Yes, I do.” She wrote it down and posted the post-it-note outside her locker’s door.

Ten days passed and everyday Katie still received those strange strawberry milks on her locker. But today was different. Katie opened her locker to put her books inside since it’s already dismissal time, only to find strawberry milk with a post-it-note sticking to it inside her locker. It wasn’t the first time she received the strawberry milk too. She took it out and took the post-it-note.
“Hey strawberry girl.”
That is what’s written on the post-it-note. It was something that she can’t explain to herself. She doesn’t understand why she found those post-it-notes very comforting to look at. She placed all of her books inside her locker as she took a sip on the strawberry milk she just received. When she’s done, she decided to head home. Only to find that it’s raining outside, it wasn’t a problem only if she had brought her umbrella with her today, which she didn’t because she forgot. She just stood there, gazing at the gray sky crying out rain.
“It’s raining.”
She heard a familiar voice. She looked at her side and found Dylan standing beside her. She looked left and right, confused. Did Dylan just talk to her?
“I’ll walk you home.” He insisted.
Katie didn’t say anything. She doesn’t know what to say or what to react. It was Dylan who’s talking to her for god’s sake, Dylan as in the Dylan who is loved by everybody. The Dylan who is loved by her.
“Do you like rain?” He asked.
“I do.” Katie answered.
