My fingers anxiously clicked away at my laptop keyboard as I lay sprawled out on top of 6 rolled up wrestling mats that I would hop up. I was waiting at my dad and brothers wrestling practice, typing an essay about what happens in a normal day for me for ELA. Suddenly I got a text.
It was Marie. Marie was one of my best friends and was a free school for basket ball and asked me if I wanted to meet up in the hallway. I texted back yes. And hopped down to be met by Alex. Alex was a year older then me, and he been on the team as long as my dad had been coaching. He was raunchy and funny and causes trouble. And had literally ever girl swooning for him.
"Whatcha doin magpie?" He said titling his head, his weird grin stretching across his face. I rolled my eyes I hated that stupid pet name and replied "as far away from you as I can get!" Before walking out the doors, waving to my dad to signify that I would be back.
Finally I met up with Marie and we talked before I heard feet pounding. I knew what was coming 53 wrestlers of varying sizes where about to stampede down the hallway right at us.
I grabbed Marie's arm and flung me and her into the girls bathroom.
"Wtf!" She shrieked and I pointed to the mob of teenage boys.
"Oh. Thanks I guess." She laughed.

"Can we hurry it up dad." I said as I stood on the corner of the mats, as the remaining wrestlers tossed around a football and did flips off the walls. "Wait for your brother he said." Nodding to my brother who was scaling up a rope attached to the ceiling.
"Little old me?" He said as he finished and jumped down. "Alright Andre do you want to go for pizza?" Andre was Alex's age but was more quiet and had a temper. "Nah I'm good." He said. And we walked out. Thank god we could.

"See you in History Lex." I said shutting my locker as I walked to class. Lexi was my stepsister and an amazing friend. She was on the competition cheer team, and probably their best flyer.
I started off down the hall before bumping into someone and dropping my books.
"Sorry Magpie." I heard a boy say sweetly with a slight Russian accent. Edwin. The lightweight champ on our team, moved here from Russia, pinned a kid once in 6 seconds. He helped me pick up my books, I said thank you and we parted ways.
