The speggethi that Alex made was delicious. We cleaned up after eating. Alex volunteered to wash the plates and he said if I come here another time, it's my turn to wash the plates. When he said that, I felt happy that he wants to bring me here again. Being here makes me forget about everything. It's like a drug.
I turn the tv on and watch some old movie. I am guessing that the tv is as old as my granmother.
"Jennifer, I am going to change my clothes okay. I'll be right back" Alex said, wiping his wet hands with a cloth. His shirt is so wet I can't help but wonder what did he do in the kitchen for so long. I nodded and he went to the room. After a few minutes later he come out of the room wearing a fresh white T-shirt.
"I am back," He said, cocking a smile at me.
He's is just so gorgeous and sexy and I know I shouldn't think like that because the only reason he is doing this because I suck at drawing and he's here to help me. He must have done this to a lot of girls that are prettier than me who suck at drawing.
"Okay, so let's start" I clap my hands together.
I took out a drawing book that my mom bought and a pencil. He tears a plain paper in my drawing book and took out a lot of pencils. He explained to me that these pencils are different. One is for shading and the other one is light and there are a lot of dark pencils.
"So let's start with drawing a person's body. I know this is your first time and I don't expect it to be beautiful. Do your best okay" He said to me, handing me a pencil. He said I musn't use my pencil.
I raise an eyebrow. "You will be dissapointed. I am not good at drawing"
"Well, I am going to push you and my mother always said 'A quitter never win and a winner never quit'. So it's your choice you decide, J"
"I am not a quitter" I told him, planting my hands on my hips. He mouthed 'Good Jenny' at me. I tried so hard not to blush.
"First," He is starting to draw on his paper. "you have to start with the upper body first. The head" I copy him. Drawing the same thing he draw on his paper. I draw an oval.
"Then, you draw the neck..." He said.
"And then draw a horizontal line perpendicular to the base of the neck but very lightly. It is a guideline for the collar bone. It should be about two to three head widths in length"
I nodded and copy him. It's actually not that hard. Alex is really a good teacher. His drawing is so good.
"And then at either end of the collar guideline, sketch circles that are slightly smaller than the circle you drew for the head earlier." He explained it to me while drawing.
We did this for about 45 minutes. He explain and then draw. We still haven't finish the drawing yet but it looks good for a first-timer, that is what Alex said.
I am trying to draw a smooth outline then all of the sudden Alex laughed.
"What? Is my drawing hideous? It's bad right?" I asked him, trying to hide my sad feelings.
He shake his head. "No, not at all. I was just thinking... what we are doing now, is it fun?"
He is weird. Alex is really creeping me out. "Er... yeah. It's fun." I said.
