Story Of a Girl

Chapter One: The Beginning

"Shit, Shawn get him come on we got to go." How the hell did I get to this point everything was going so well, I had a great life, best friends, a boyfriend, great family and pets. That all ended when she and he came along. They came along with all their lies and their secrets tore us all apart. You maybe wondering who I am, let me introduce myself the name is  Valentina Thomas. I am 18 years old and in my senior and final year of high school ( most of you know what senior year is). I live in Dallas, Tx and my favorite color is Periwinkle. I have two dogs named Fifi and Jaxon, they are two small dogs .  I live with my parents Steve and Karen Thomas, who are two of the most deeply in love with one another people I have ever met and have no problem letting anyone know. Maybe that is the reason I have the problems I do now. My parents are always holding hands making kissey faces at one another or making "I Love You" declarations for the world to hear, ok maybe I am being dramatic, not the world but to the patrons in restaurants when we go out to our family dinners. But, you will hear more about them later on. Onto my next family member who I also live with my sister, Marie Thomas, she is the exact opposite of my parents someone who doesn't like to be touched or share her feelings with anyone. She is rude, crude, and messy but, you will learn more about her as the story goes on. Last but not least of the family introductions is my grandmother who also lives with us Hattie Connelly, she is the matriarch of our family and the shadiest of us all. After one conversation with her you will realize how much of a gossip queen and fell like a tree of shade has fallen on you. 

Now Enough about my family you must meet the people who make life a possible task to handle. We are known in school and the Great 8, it consists of me, Sapphire, Rainbow, Yasmin, Tanner. Shawn, Andrew, and Walden. Half of us are smart asses and the other half are just really, really smart. I do not get how or why we have been together for so long but we have. I have known Sapphire, Tanner and Shawn the longest since birth actually, they know me inside and out. We have all known each other as a group since 1st grade. So basically we have known each other all our lives which I why I say I do not know how we are still friends, I found out why senior year. Thus the reason for our story, well let me begin our story now that everyone has been introduced......  

" Shit, Shawn get him, Come on we got to go." I knew this was a bad idea the moment we decided to go to 'The Annual Back to School Party'. I call it The Annual Back to School Party because, it was the party everyone goes to, it's like if you miss this event it could cripple you social existence if you didn't go. Even the nerds and geeks, social outcasts , even the people who never went to parties when to this party. It was the not to miss event because something always occurs, a few people always get drunk, someone always sleeps with someone who is not currently theirs and currently has someone, and fights break out. Currently two of my best friends were fighting for my honor and one was up against the queen bee, Cathryn and the other was up against the Prince of the school, Literally his name is Prince. Anyways Sapphire and I were standing to the side making sure none of Cathryn's' cronies tried to get a sneak attack in, as the insults of "Bitch", "Purple People Eater", "Snotty Nose Hoe", " You Fuck anything moving"  were being thrown between Rain and Cathryn was all i could hear. I looked over to see Shawn trying to get in-between the two young men throwing punches, I couldn't hear any words that were being said but I know what was said was serious because no one has said anything they were just throwing punches and grunting a whole lot. All I could think is how the hell did we get here, and where the hell were the rest of my friends??
