Seven years ago two girls were kidnapped, Storm and Sam Kirt. The sisters were brought to the Place.
Two years after, five years ago they escaped. Storm was 16 and Sam was twelve. Devon, one of the workers at the Place promised each girl that they would get hurt if they escaped. Still some girls try, always going in two's. Still some girls try. Some make it, but most don't.
Like Devon promised Storm breaks her ankle on the way out of the Place. She tells Sam to run, which is what Sam does not looking back.
That's the last time anyone saw Sam.
It's also the first time anyone saw Sky Bertwell. A girl with black hair and blue eyes. Later that day she dies her hair white claiming it held to much memory. She was put into the system and went to Ms. Heavenly home for orphans.
she gets along fine with Me. Heavenly and the others. She gets adopted by two billionaires and their daughter. Sky wants to stay but she tries to escape knowing her sister is in trouble back at the Place.
