Prologue

Harry

My problems aren't normal. I hear things. But I can't speak about them.

It only happens out of the blue. It can be when I'm walking to the grocery store, when I'm lying in bed wishing for some peace and quiet, or when they want to talk.

I can't refuse.

They won't let me.

Its like a constant ringing inside of my head, I can't stop it.

They isolated me from my family.

I have no one. I sit in my closet everyday after working; my one and only job that keeps me standing on my own two feet. Tucking my head between my legs and wishing for them to go away.

For them to leave me alone.

But, they refuse because they own me. They take control of me.

I can't live my life anymore. Its not mines to live. They're taking it from me. And I have nothing my power to stop it.

I've chewed up all of my nails.

I've been loosing my brown locks.

I've lost the color in my eyes. They are no long a green, but the color of a person who's life has been sucked right from there chest.

I'm loosing this battle. Though I don't believe it's a battle anymore; I've already surrendered myself. I'm all theirs now, but the only thing keeping me alive, is the will of never saying the simple words that would change my life forever.

"I offer you my soul to keep, to roam around the dirt and gravel of earth, throughout my body, breathe. Breathe like never before. And use me, use me for your pride. Use me to relive again. Because you've already won, I'm already yours."

These words have been written everywhere throughout my bland apartment for almost 6 months.

I'm getting used to their ways.

They'll do anything in their power to take me.

My eyes are glossy, my cheeks stained with tears that have shown my coward ness. My shameless body curled up, hands on my ears wishing for them to disappear, for them to stop the aching burn in my body.
