Notice how all of them are in a dark, enclosed space, as if they are trapped. Like they are expected to act like this one character all the time and they feel "chained up" because of that.
KEN (Flower Room) - Ken is sitting in a room literally the size of a telephone booth covered in a bunch of pretty flowers. Our lovely flower boy since day one. If he were to stop being cute or happy for even a day people would assume he's giving off attitude or becoming arrogant. It must be hard for him to show other sides to him that aren't so bright ALL THE TIME. The small room could represent the suffocation. Like even really bright people have their down time, but he pretty much looks happy every schedule 24/7 and this must be a really hard guise to keep up with, especially when he's just not feeling it.
HYUK (Stairs) - "The only place he can go from here is up." He keeps growing mentally and physically since debut, as we can see how much his singing and dancing has improved, and he probably feels the pressure to continue doing so. But as you can see, the stairs stop mid-way in the air leading to nothing, as in, at some point he'll reach his full potential to grow, or won't have the energy to anymore. At the end, Hyuk is seen at the very end of the stairs, as in he has reached his limit.
LEO (Golden Chains) - The chains are not off to the sides or around the walls, but rather they are formed specifically to enclose him within them. Him singing from within the chains can represent how he kept everything (his feelings/words) in since debut and felt chained up, however the chains are golden because they proved to be lucky/opportunity for him. Because of his quiet nature he has gotten so many fans. People always comment how it's nice to see Leo finally speaking...but they miss him being quiet squint emoticon(LOL not to offend those of you who say that but make up your mind!) At one point he moves the chains to the side and simply peeks out. He probably feels the pressure to stay the "quiet one" even if he is more comfortable and wants to start opening up now.
RAVI (Curtains) - The curtains are seemingly so bright on the outside and he enters full force, but as soon as Ravi steps into them we can see that it is not so bright anymore; only his silhouette is shown. He keeps trying to find his way, but it's just curtain after curtain, but after much struggle he finds his way out again. I think the curtains represent 'effort' or 'struggles'. By on-lookers from outside it looks good to them, but for the person inside putting in the effort it is struggle after struggle. I think this is trying to represent how his decision of becoming an idol rapper is affecting him. People are always saying idol rappers aren't real rappers, they don't work as hard, don't "hustle", etc. So to stop people from talking he pushes himself into the curtains, a sign of him working hard and putting in effort. He does his thing and comes out, but even after putting in all the effort people still devalue him. He's last seen still inside the curtain, as in, he has to give continuous effort and keep struggling, there's no break for him, because people will always keep talking smash about him no matter what he does. cough cough Bobby (First "Beautiful Liar now "Chained Up", Ravi is on a roll. What are haters gonna say now?)
HONGBIN (Sinking In Water) - He has a clean white bed made for him but rather than choosing to lie on it, he's decided to sit in the murky water, and even starts dirtying the bed. Since day one, his main classification has been "visual", and that can make an artist literally lose their shit (sorry about the language). Like he's not just some idol who's in the group to be "that pretty boy", he has substance, and he wants to show it. He's sick of all the constant "perfection", clean-image, pretty-smiley-boy-Bin and so he chooses to dirty himself to escape from the perfect image.
N (Broken Glass Floor) - N is seen walking on top of a floor of broken glass. As we all know walking on broken glass is dangerous. You could end up getting hurt. Basically he's the leader, and he has to be very calculative of every move he makes. One wrong "step" could hurt the group. (See what I did there? smirks)
The girl - Hate to say it, but MAYBE it's the fans? Don't know how to describe her though. I guess she's being a silent on-looker. She sees all the pain the six of them are going through but turns away and decides to stay passive about it. But it could also be a mix of things: fans, netizens, other artists, etc.
But DAMN... if this really is the somewhat correct interpretation I really feel for our boys frown emoticon Yeah, so... this was just one of the ways I translated it... Of course, it could all just be about a girl in the end though haha... awkward laughing.
