Day one of my new life. A life in which I must live with the one person I hate, my step father. A life where I live in a small town that no one ever moves to. You wanna know why no one moves here? Because it's the stupidest town ever. That's why. The high school has about 100 kids. That's all. That means 10 kids in each class. Everyone knows everyone, I am the first new kid in over a century. You know what that means? It means everyone has already found their best friends, and the only people that would be willing to be my friend, are the most annoying geeks in the world.
"Aaron! Get you lazy butt down the stairs! You will NOT like it if I have to come and get you!" I heard my step father Ryan scream up the stairs.
"Yea. Whatever. My butt would like to stay right here, but thanks for asking." I mutter beneath my breath. I stayed in my room for a few minutes longer, and than I heard a pound on my door.
"Aaron!!!!! Open this door NOW!" Ryan screamed.
"Yea...I think I'd rather not." I replied calmly.
"I will break down this door if I have to and you will NOT like what will happen after I do, so I recommend you to let me in!"
"Go ahead. Break the door down, it's your dumb door anyways." I replied simply.
Than I heard my mothers voice. When I heard her, I opened the door so fast my step father went flying into the wall. Downstairs I saw her beautiful face.
"Mom!" I yelled and ran into her open arms.
"Aaron, I wanted to come see you to let you know that your little brother is going to be moving here with you in a little less than a week, so take good care of him, ok?" She smiled and than added "I know you will."
"Don't leave me." I said quietly.
"Bye baby." She replied and slipped back out into the rain. When she and my step father had gotten married a few months ago, I knew it would ruin my life. Then to make everything 10x worse, she decided to join the navy. They sent her on a weekend vacation because she was going slightly crazy from all the stress. She spent all of yesterday on a plane and in a truck driving to see us. What truly sucks, is that she could only spend a few moments with us before she had to head back home.
"AARON! You are in SO MUCH TROUBLE!"
I heard Ryan scream at me.
Great. Just what I needed...
"Ok good luck trying to punish me." I said just loud enough for him to hear.
"You are grounded to this house for a month. You will go nowhere but school." He barked.
"Yea, that would work... Except, I am not going to school yet." I said.
"Ha! That's what I was going to tell you. You start school tomorrow." He said.
Wow. I can't believe it! I just moved here a week ago and he expects me to go to school?! I stormed off to my room to contemplate a way around this, but, there was no way out. I am going to school tomorrow.
