                                                    Chapter one:

Little dogs and filthy rich psychopathic people

I stood outside my dad's house waiting for Louis to pull up. Checking my phone I realized he still had fifteen minutes to come, so I decided to walk around Don caster. The weather was just a bit chilly since there was two weeks until winter. It didn't really worry me though I had on my dark blue sweater that was one size too big to keep me warm.

I knew the town by heart. Louis and me would walk around here and talk for hours. God I missed him so much. We had been best friends since I moved here from America when I was 11. Even though there was three years separating us it really didn't matter we still the best laughs and knew every thing about one another.

When he was leaving to audition for the x-factor I could barley talk, the only thing I could squeak out was that he better call everyday. He was my partner in crime, we were always dumb and dumber. Glued to each other's side. So it killed me to know that my dumber was leaving me.

I turned on my heel about to head back home when I heard the squeal of tires and a dog barking. I turned to see a little Yorkie run out of the road back onto the sidewalk. It stood there for a few moments then ran back into the 6 o'clock traffic.

Choosing to react before my brain could stop me. I ran after it. No way was I going to drive to work tomorrow, see it dead on the side of the road and know I could have saved it. Ignoring the blaring car horns I kept my eyes trained on the little brown dog.

It dodge one car just by a foot and turned around at the sound of the lady hysterically screaming and cursing. The distraction allowed me enough time to grab him and reach the side. At least there was an helpful up side to having people who cared more about their car than the life of an innocent animal in this world.

But I guess it was determined to get hit by a car. So by wiggling out of my grasp, the little dog ran and dashed underneath a fence. So I made another dumbass move. I crawled underneath it. Seeing as it was a pretty tight fit I was half way through before my fat ass got stuck.

"fuuuccckk." I moaned trying it wiggle out. nope, no help at all. I could always scream, have someone come and pull me out-

Or you could call some with your CELLPHONE wiseass. My snarky little conscious cut in. It had a good point. But seeing as my phone was in my front left pocket and I was laying on my stomach with my hands already through the fence. It was physically impossible to reach it.

My thoughts were interrupted by whimpering right beside my ear. I looked to see the little Yorkie to my left laying down with a sad look on his face. He stopped for a moment to crawl closer, then started up again when I reached out to pet him. He didn't have a collar, but he did have a look in his eyes that came a cross to me as 'sorry I got you in this fucked up mess'.

"It's alright bud, I probably called this predicament onto myself for eating that extra piece of chocolate pie." I said to him. Pulling him closer I rubbed behind his ears while he timidly licked the  sides of my wrists. I had to hand it to the little fellow-

"Well what do we have here." I heard someone chuckle about two feet away.

"I swear to god if you dare to try anything you little twat I will beat the living shit out of you, pull your teeth out with a rusty wrench, and leave you in an alley to get raped by a rat. You nasty ass, dead beat, prick." I knew that my little speech might not have intimidated him but I will own up to my words.

"No need to get upset, we just came to help you out." another person spoke. He had a strong Irish accent and a deep voice.
