Earth grabbed the amulet and took off. We all chased after him.

"Earth! Come back!" I yelled.

But he kept running. He went over the cliff and into his cave. We quickly cought up with him. He was digging into the floor and pulled out an ice block.

"What is that?" James asked.

I didn't answer his question, I was too focused on what Earth might be up to.

"Earth, what is it?" I demanded.

He chirped loudly at me and ran out with the clump of ice that trapped his family. I still couldnt figure out what he was up to. I followed him as he ran all the way across the cave to the very end. He just stood there and examined the wall for a bit.

"Earth...?" I said.

Then he climbed the wall to a sertain spot, and wiped his hand along the wall. A bunch of dust, and dirt fell off. He reviled some ancient carvings that hid under the dust. A small hole fit the odd shape of the amulet. He placed the amulet in the hole and turned it four times. Seconds later more aliens came up behind us and cheered him on.

"What is he doing with the wall?" James asked.

"Its not a wall..." said Joe "it's a door."

Earth had found two more holes and turned the amulet in them. Then he began crawling all over the wall, probably looking for another hole. He started wipping away the dust and scratching out the dirt. Soon the rest of the aliens climbed onto the wall and started cleaning away the dust and dirt till someone found the other whole. But it wasn't an alien, I was the one that found it. Earth rushed over and turned in the amulet. All the other aliens scrambled off the wall and earth did too. In a couple seconds the doors slowly opened. The ground began shaking violently. A very bright light shined from the opening of the doors, and Earth ran in without hesitation. But all the other aliens ran away into their homes to get away from the lights.

"I knew it!" James blurted.

Me and Joe looked at him awkwardly.

"I had a feeling I should have brought these." he pulled out a pair of sun glasses from his jacket pocket and put them on.

"You idiot!" I fummed, smacking him on the back of his head.

The glasses fell off and Joe picked them up off the ground.

"I'll find Earth." he said, and ran into the bright light through the doors.

"C'mon..." I said and dragged James with me into the light as well.

Once we got in, it wasnt that bright any more. I had seen that Joe found Earth, and tried to get him to put on the sun glasses. But Earth just kept running around. He must be looking for something. I ran up to Earth and roughly grabbed him by the arm and yanked him into eye contact. He stopped and stuggled to keep his eyes open. I put my hand up to his forehead and shaded his eyes. He breathed heavily and I could feel his pulse beating rapidly in his arm.

"Calm down." I said. "Put these on, or your never gonna find what your looking for."

Earth stopped panicking and let me put the sun glasses on him. He looked around with an amazed expression. He chirped at me, probably saying thank you, and took his time looking around. This garage looking place was filled with small structures and vehicles. Like it was a small town. Nothing looked extraterrestrial-like though, just normal.

Then we followed him into a quite small house, but when we entered, it turned out to be bigger than my own apartment. Joe and James starred in awe. I continued following Earth around the house. Then he walked into a large bed room.

"Earth what is this place?" I asked.

Earth reached into a dresser and pulled out a vaguely familiar colar. He put it on around his neck and pressed a button on It. A small dull light shined, signaling that it was working. Earth looked down at me and opened his mouth ready to speak. But he hesitated for a moment.

"... This is my home."
