Soon the sun began to rise, so we took shelter in a nearby cave.
"So, maybe we should start a fire so we don't get cold. I'll go get some wood." William said walking out of the cave.
Their going to kill me. I thought, why? Why did that old witch curse me? That question never left my thoughts.
"I grabbed some sticks, and two rocks to start it." He sat down trying to start it. It never lit.
"It might not light because of the dew." I stated.
"I wish it would lite." I gestured my hand towards it, and fire shot out.
"WHAT HAPPENED?" I shouted.
"Calm down, remember what your father said?" He sounded so relaxed like this happened all of the time.
I took a few deep breaths.
"The witch. I'm a witch. I wonder what else I can do..." My voice trailed off. I walked out if the cave.
"Let's see what else I can do..." I whispered to myself.
"But how does it work?"
What did I do earlier? I thought, oh yeah, I thought about an element and moved my hands.
I wish it wasn't so cold. I threw my hands up in the air and I felt the air get warmer.
That's it.
"Was that you?" William was running towards me.
I nodded surprisingly.
"Wait, let me try something..." My voice trailed off.
Fly, let me fly. I shot my hands down and closed my eyes.
"Stephanie!" William shouted.
I opened my eyes and I was a little above the trees. Oops. I thought.
Let me down gently.
I saw the ground get closer. Soon I put my feet firmly on the ground.
"I can fly!" I yelled.
"Shush!" William scolded.
"Oops, we got to hide." I paused, "Wait! I have an idea, we can use my powers and hide. Nobody will find us."
"Will it work?" William sounded unsure.
"Let's see..."
William and I will be invisible.
"Hold my hand." I told him.
Soon we were see through.
Footsteps rushed towards us.
"I know I saw someone up above the tree!" A deep voice said.
"I heard them talking" Another man said with a loud voice.
"Well there not here, better not be trespassers." The deep voice man said.
I guess I have to constantly thinking about my power or its useless.
"Stephanie" William said.
"Oh no!" The invisibility wore off.
"Hey! Over here!" The deep voice said.
Too late! They came around a tree and saw us.
"Run!" William yelled,
"No..." I replied.
Speed fly to the cave, soon my feet were off the ground. I grabbed William and we shot off towards the cave.
"Your getting better" William said trying not to panic.
"I know!" We quickly approached the cave.
"Get the bag and lets go." He demanded.
"Um, excuse me, ain't I supposed to o be the boss?" I replied.
"No, I'm older." He said.
"Fine" I pouted.
"Over there!" The deep voiced man was approaching.
"Let's go!" I stated, "Grab on!"
He squeezed my arm.
Focus, show William and I the closest village. I immediately saw a village and immediately knew where.
"Run, and follow me." I told William.

It was almost nightfall and we were tired.
"Let's rest here for tonight." William said.
I pointed to the river we were close to.
"Under water?" William asked.
"Why not? For you know, practice?"
"Oh no! We're not sleeping under water!" William said.
"Fine, would you rather the tree?" I asked him.
"Actually, yes." He said thankfully.
" Alrighty then." I grinned.
Up in the nearest tree, safely. I thought.
We were both in a tree
"Well, good night." I said finally. I snuggled on a branch and fell into a world of darkness.
