The Secret of the White Wolf

Chapter 7

A few days later I started getting use to the routine waking up next to Carter every morning. He makes me breakfast which I gladly eat with him. We play around with Theia and the other little kids. Me and mom are still in a rough patch but we're working past it. I'm scared though tonight I will change into my wolf Carter says he will be by my side but damn this is going to hurt.

"You okay?" My eyes meet Carter

"Ya fine just worried about tonight" I give him a sad smile

He walked over and kissed the top of my head "You'll be fine baby"

We locked eyes "Thanks babe"

"Get ready you should wear some loose clothing when you change your clothing breaks. I'll bring one of my shirt for when you shift back"

I nodded and started to get dressed as he walked out the door. I decided on a black sports bra with a wife beater over it paired with black basketball shorts. I walked out the door and made my way through the giant house down to the kitchen. It was about an hour till it's time to shift. I smiled at Cafter who was currently cooking me dinner. Doesn't every girl love a guy that can cook.

Carter turned around to look at me "Hey babe you look good"

I slapped him on the shoulder "Ow what was that for shorty" he said with a pretend hurt look

There he goes with shorty again seriously why does he like that name so much

" I know I look terrible you don't need to point it out" I say sarcastically

"Actually I think you look pretty good in basketball shorts" With that signature smirk of his

"Shut up and give me my food already" I say wanting to eat already

"Fine fine you highness" He hands me my platen and bows pretending I'm royalty

"Thank-you pesent" I say with a laugh

"Hey you're dating this pesent now kiss me" He says with a fake sad face

"Only for you babe" Standing on my tippy toes to kiss him

We sat and finished our meal well joking around a little. Now we're on our way to where I will be shifting for the first time I can feel my heart racing.

He looked over me "Babe youll be fine I'll be next to you the entire time"

The car stopped and we got out slowly I observed the surroundings there were trees surrounding us and the sky was darker. We walked into the woods to an open area I looked around it was just me and him.

"I want you to concentrate for a moment think of yourself as a wolf" I thought of myself I don't know how but when I pictured it a white wolf came to my mind with what seemed to be my eyes but a little more aqua than blue green. In seconds I felt pain not any normal pain this pain was unbearable. I just wanted it to stop I felt every one of my bones breaking. I looked down where my feet were suppose to be there were paws they were white like what I pictured.

'Hey I'm lyla your wolf'

I looked around and couldn't figure out where it was coming from

'I'm in your mind we can talk to each other and talk to other werewolves through a thing called mind link'

'Oh thats cool so wait I can talk to Carter without actually talking'

'Yes it's the wonderful thing about mindlinks here think about Carter and say something to him'

'Hey Carter is this thing working'

'Yes babe now turn around'

When I turned around I saw an all black and blue eyed wolf.

'Your wolf is really pretty'

'So is yours I like all white it's pure'

'So does your wold have a name to?'

'Yea his name is Ash'

'Cool I feel like I need to run do you think we can do that'

'Okay'

And with that we were off running the wind in my fur. We ran around what he told me was his territory we got back to where we started my legs felt amazing lyla was happy being around Carter she kept begging me to go closer.

'Do you want to change back now'

'Ya but how would I do that'

'Alright go behind that tree and envision yourself as a human there should be a shirt behind it'

I walked behind the tree and did as he said. I changed into a human when I realized I was naked and grabbed the clothes. When I came out from behind the tree I noticed Carter had changed to but he was only wearing basketball shorts showing his perfect eight pack and V-line.

"That was amazing" I said as we walked back hand in hand to the truck

"Do you feel like being closer to me now"

I thought of it quickly "Now that you mention yes Lyla was telling me to go closer to you"

He looked at me with lust in his eyes "Yea I've been feeling this the whole time it going to be harder and harder for me not to mark you"

I thought about it for a minute "Then why don't you just mark me"

"Well if I mark you then you will eventually go into heat and if you don't complete the mating process and I don't want to put you through that pain" he said seriously

We started driving home "Well I'm ready when you are" I said I was actually ready for it and Lyla was agreeing with me I think she's the source of all this confidence.
