I woke up to the sound of rain. My back hurts form sleeping on the shelf, and my mind is foggy from the whiskey. I looked at the clock, it was a bit early to wake up, I but I dragged my self to the floor and in front of the mirror.
It was a tall mirror, and I was small for I was in my animal form. I was the size of a small cat, but I took the shape of a possum. My coat was slim black, my eyes looked pale as the moon, I had a pair of horns that twisted back, and my wings were more like leather then fur, and at the ends they were torn from age.
In a blink of an eye, I turn into my self. I stand at the mirror. I look into my eyes, their pale. My hair, it's pale blue. It came down to my knees, and it was wild form sleeping. My eyes were red form crying, and the whisky was still in me.
I felt the rage build in myself. Stupid Ashley, I fucking hate her. Tears stated to build in my eyes.
I never wanted to see her again, ever.
I found my self stamping to the bath room, grabbing the razor.
Tears are running down my checks, as I shave my head.
A few minutes later, I look up. The whiskey cleared my head, and I see what I have done. I shaved my head, making it a Mohawk style.
It was time to move on, to start over, with out her.
I turned on the showed and well took a shower. I washed off the lose hairs, and the hangover.
I go dressed in pants, and laced up my boots. I pulled on a shirt, and then a vest. I put the kettle on, and made breakfast.
But I didn't feel like eating, but Brick did. Brick was a lone cat, and he would come around here and there.
I turned to the open window, and place for the plate there. The smell of the ham and cooked apple drove him to my window fast. His fur was fluffy, but the rain was bring it down. The wet orange cat ate, as I sipped on my coffee.
I looked at the clock. I had time, but it would take time to talk to Mrs. Hitch, and walk to the grave yard.
I walk down the stairs, after I locked my door. You see, I live on the third floor. Under me lives Mrs. Hitch, and under her is her tea shop.
As I walk the stair creak under me. When I got to the main floor, I could hear Mrs. Hitch walk around her shop.
I walked in, the place smelled of tea leaves, and the sound of tea kettles.
"You've cut your hair, child." Mrs. Hitch said, she came around the corner.
"Yeah, I guess." I said, sraching my buzzed hair.
"You're heading out?"
"Yeah, I promised Chaf I would show up to work."
"Are you sure? I mean, maybe you should rest more, build your strength. You've been through a lot, dear. You shouldn't put more stress on you self."
"I'll be okay, I promise. Plus Chaf said only if I wanted to. And I need to get my pocket watch fix." I said.
"Alright dear, but be safe." Mrs. Hitch warned.
I smiled, and walked out side. I held out my hand, and rain fell onto my hand.
Fuck, I forgot my jacket. I walked back in side, only to see Mrs. Hatch. She held out my hat, my grey jacket, and my bag.
"You forgot this, dear." She said.
"Thanks." I said, sliding on my jacket and my hat. I took my bag, walked down the street.( S'up guys, Staten's Little Girl here. This is a new story, and I hope you guys like these story's. Yeah so any ways, I'll try to update sooner. Bye humans, and remember cats are evil fluffy balls of fur)
