The move was hard on Bri. We'd spend almost every day on the phone talking to each other, and if we weren't doing that, we were texting. Although things seemed to be going pretty well for Bri besides the fact that I had moved, I couldn't say the same for myself. I became sort of an outcast at my new school since there was nobody that I could click with, besides a few of my fellow basketball team members. Luckily, I only had to spend two weeks my new school before it closed for summer vacation. I honestly don't know why we couldn't wait until school was out before we moved. I made sure to call Bri as soon as school was out so that we could possibly catch up. We agreed to meet at a nearby pizza parlor across town, one of our favorites.

Getting ready, I put on one of my favorite graphic tees, some jeans, a hoodie and my favorite red snapback. I also made sure to apply a lil bit of gel on my blonde curls, since they were looking kind of messy. Before I headed out the door, I shot a quick text to Bri, letting her know that I was on my way. She responded with her usual 'aight' before letting me know that she was leaving too.

After reaching the pizza shop, I sat down in the red and black striped booth near the window- Bri's favorite spot to sit. She would always tell me how much she adored watching the trees sway in the wind from this particular spot. Not to mention it also had a pretty good view of her favorite boutique. I made a note to take her there afterwards and buy her something. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of bells jingling, signaling that someone had just entered the shop. I peeked over, seeing just who I wanted to see.

"Chris!" she exclaimed, running towards me. I quickly removed myself from the booth before meeting her with a hug. She smelled amazing. I pulled back from the hug, taking my time to admire her. Her smile looked just as radiant as always, and her curly hair was pulled up into a half-ponytail. She was wearing a white bape t-shirt with a black logo on it, and a pair of jean shorts. She looked beautiful.

I snapped out of my gaze only to realize that shawty- I mean Bri, was looking at me too. Once her eyes met mine, she chuckled, embarrassed at the fact that I had caught her staring. I laughed, grabbing her hand and pulling her into the booth.

"So," I started. "I missed you. A lot man. I'm really glad to see you right now, even if it's just for an hour or so."

"Same here. After you left, things weren't really the same. Nothing really felt right, I don't know." she shrugged, sending a small smile in my direction.

"Sorry to interrupt, but would y-you guys like to order anything or-" the waitress asked nervously, blushing when I looked at her. She bit her lip and quietly brushed her messy brown curls out of her face as she waited for our response.

"Oh, uh, yeah, my bad." I replied, earning a giggle from her. "Can we get a large pineapple and ham pizza with a garlic crust?"

"Sure. W-would you like anything to d-drink with that?" she asked. Damn, this waitress thing ain't gon' work out for her if she keep stuttering and shit, I thought to myself.

"Yeah, can we get two Sprites?" Bri replied, a hint of aggression evident in her voice. It was cute on her, I thought, licking my lips.

"A-anything else?" the waitress asked, looking at me for a response.

"No thank you." Bri responded, turning her head back towards me as the waitress walked away.

"Hmph, someone's jealous." I smirked, nudging Bri. She smacked my hand away, causing me to hiss.

"Jealous of what, her? Nah." she denied, cracking a small smile.

"You jealous because she got a thing for me. End of story."
