Step 1

"You sure we aren't going to get arrested for this?" I asked Carter, the second-in-command of the crew, and the one who proposed this idea. He was sporting this dark coffee brown hair that was almost long enough to reach his neck. His nose was slightly crooked because of the accident in tumbling that we had a couple of months ago. We were of the same height which made me see him as my brother. Of course, he was a huge hit with the ladies since he'd got these light brown eyes that turned lighter under the shade of the sun.

Sometimes, I wondered why he was still single.

"Even if we get arrested, we'll get out within twenty-four hours. It's not a major crime, Aria," he told me. "We are not trespassing. This place is public,"

"Whatever you say..." I said, unsure.

"Just trust me on this," he patted my back and started walking to his position.

I took a deep breath and muttered in a low breath, "You're lucky that you're my best bud," I looked a good few distances away from me and nodded at two of my friends. I brought my left hand beside my back and snapped it.

After five seconds, music filled the ground floor of the mall. The music came from the latest boombox that the crew bought just for this occasion. It took all the crew's money away but Carter believed that it was all going to be worth it.

The music that Cindy remixed caught the attention of everyone inside the mall, even those who were in the top floors. Cindy walked in the middle of the mall and placed the boombox on the center floor. I nodded at her and took this as my cue.

Cindy's the approachable and friendliest one of the group. She would befriend anyone in a heartbeat. She had dyed snow white hair and pale skin.

Me? I just had this large copper eyes and ivory skin. My toffee brown, shoulder-length hair was quite unruly since it was wavy so I just wore it up in a high ponytail. I wasn't even that tall with my height that just stood five foot seven. I also wasn't really a headturner unlike Cindy whose style was very unique.

I cartwheeled first, did a fronthand spring then lastly, a backhand spring to land a few steps away from the boombox. I looked at my surroundings and saw that everyone stopped just to look at me. The intro of the second music started and my crew joined me. We were consisted of six members only, each one gifted with the special field of dancing.

I bent down for Carter to jump whilst tumbling in mid-air over me. Everybody cheered at that, not everyone could stay in the air that long without falling back down because of gravity after all. "Let's do this!" Cindy yelled and all of us shuffled on the floor.

The people who were watching us were cheering for us, probably enjoying the show that we were creating. After ten minutes of dancing, the final act was for me. Mike, a group member that was so huge and with a body like a boulder, stood in front of me whilst everyone was still dancing.

Once the music finished, I ran over to him and stepped four steps on his body and tumbled upon the air, landing perfectly on the ground. There was one thing that I'd learned all throughout the years of my dancing. It was how tumbling could give a dancer a very huge audience impact.

"What's going on here?" a masculine voice interrupted as everyone turned quiet. A guy with brown hair and green eyes went out of the crowd and stood in front of me. He wasn't that tall but he was intimidating. I was guessing that he was around five foot nine? "What is this?"

"Are you Lawrence Luther?" Janine blurted out. She was the most talkative person that you would ever meet. She'd got this fiery red hair and pale skin with freckles on her cheek.
