life is never what it seems

chapter 1

This is a picture of my beautiful identical twin sister lucy.I think she is a brilliant singer and rapper.She is so good at everything.(Though im the best at drumming and writing poems)

We soon arrived at what Sean said in the letter.House little requiem.
I was exicted but also nervous.Lucy stood next to me with her four suitcases aswell.She turned and looked at me giving me a small smile.Her hand reached out for the knocker and tapped it twice.The door opens about 4 secounds later.There stood two men.One about two inches taller than the other.Both very muscular.The tallest went for a casual look.He wore baggy jeans and a plain white t-shirt.He was about 6ft 3 in height and had short brown hair.He had brown eyes and stood in a half slounched position.
The other almost the opposite.He had long black hair that touched his ears and a frindge that flopped to a side.He wore tight clothes but stood up straight.
We looked at them and smiled.
The taller man stepped foward.
"Hi im Nick and this is Sean.Welcome.Come in."We step in out of the freezing cold.
They notice something.I bring in the push chair.
The just open their mouths wide.
"Who is that?"
"My brother.Ok i mean our brother.The rest of our family died and there was no one left to look after him.I hope you dont mind.I just couldnt let him go."

"No its ok but you need to look after him.I hope you have all of his things with you.Taking care of a baby is a big responsibility."Sean said.

"Yes.Em will there be a room next to mine so he can sleep."

"Yea there is one joined to yours.You will be sharing though."

"With who?"

"Callum.Lucy you are with Drayvin.The rest of the rooms are full.I will show you to your rooms."

With saying that I hear thuds down the spiral stair case about 10meters away.A guy about my age comes running up to us.
He has floppy brown hair and beautiful brown eyes.His face soft.He was about a inch taller than me.

"Hi im Callum.I hear Sophie is staying with me.Come on i will show you to our room."
He was waiting to see which one of us was Sophie.I stepped forward and he took my hand.I looked down at it and smiled.We had been dating online for about 6 months.Now I finally saw him.

We ran up the stairs together.Callum lead me round a corridor and then opened a door.I looked around and it was amazing.Everything was white.It was spectacular.I put my suitcases down.I quickly ran down the stairs to go get my little brother Daniel who lucy was holding.She laughes and gives him to me while Nick follows with his suitcases.I open the door again and walk in.
"Hey Callum look at this."I say.He turns round and has a shocked look on his face.
"Is he yours?"
"No he is my brother.My family died in a car crash.Him and lucy are all I have left.His name is Daniel and he is two.Im looking after him.Nick said he can stay in the room next to ours.That way if he wakes up in the night I can tend to him.Im kind of nervous of taking care of a child but i am not leaving him to go to care."I say with a sad smile.I was definatly not letting him go.Then I might not get to see him grow up.That thought almost broke my heart.I turn to Callum with my head facing the ground.What would he say?Would he leave me?God I dont know what was worse.Me losing my family or my little brother being adopted and never seeing him again.
" Sophie dont worry.If you think I will leave you then you have got another thing coming.But i have to admit that was a suprise.Can I help take care of him?I love children.I know alot about how to take care of them."

"Ok sure.Thanks for not leaving me.It means alot go me."

"Hey Cal where is Seans office?He wanted me to meet him there as soon as everything is unpacked."

"Oh yea I will show you.Is everything put away neatly cause Sean does not take to lightly to a messy rooms.Now quickly put them socks away into the draw so we can go.

I nod and tuck my my socks into the draw.I walk out of the room following Callum.I close the door behind me and run to catch up with him who was waiting for me at the stairs.He gives me a smile and we walk down the 45 steps until we reach the bottom.Callum takes my hand and pulls me slightly right along a corridor.We finally stop at a door on our left.We knock and a voice calls out.It sounds like Seans.
"Come in."He shouts.I open the door slowly and walk in.I look back at Callum and then to Sean.Nick must have seen my look of insurance because he calls
"Callum can stay if he wants."I sign and walk over to the two free chairs.We both take a seat and look at them both.

"Right lets get down to businesses.We have some rules you have to abide bye.Number 1.No sex."
With saying that he looks at us both seriously.
"If you want to you must ask our permission.Number 2.No fighting.We have had fights in the past and we sorted them out.Number 3.You will talk to everyone nicly and will not talk behind others back.That is rude and disrespectful.Now the last and most important rule.Have fun."

"Oh and one other thing.We have made it so everyone shares a bed with someone.So you and Callum will be sharing."

My eyes widen in fear.You have to be kidding me.

I leap out of my seat and run over to a corner.I curl up into a ball.Everyone looks alarmed.
"Look im sorry but things gave happened to me in the past that make me like this."
With saying that I run out of the room.My feet pounding the ground below me as if it was a punching bag.Tears swell in my eyes.I charge up the stairs and run into my room.I close the door.I run over to the bed and start to cry into my pillow.I hear footsteps and then a arm on my shoulder.I look up and Callum is looking at me worried.
"I guess you want a explanation.When I was a kid i had things done to me that no one could explain or make it better.I will just say one thing.Im not a virgin though I wish i was.Im scared of thunderstorms because thats when it happened.I was made to sleep in bed with random men.I go hit.To be honest i had a terrible childhood.I spent 5 years of my 14 years being alive,Kidnapped.Thats why I was so scared back then.It brings back bad and painful memories.Im sorry."

"Hey its ok.I promise I would mever hurt you like that.Not as long as i live.You are safe now.There is nothing to worry about.I will take care of you.I love you."
"I love you to."I whispered.
He leaned in and gave me a small kiss.I smiled at him.That felt nice.It was not rough or forceful.He pushed me slightly so that i layed down next to him with his arm around me.

About a minute later I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in."Callum said.

"You better be decent."Sean said with warning in his voice.

"Yes we are.We are just cuddling."

"Well dinners ready."

"Ok we are coming."

We walk down to dinner and stop at a huge room.It is full of food which i think means help youself.There was lots of varietys of food.I walk over to the curray and get a helping of that.We was given a tray.We had to have vegtables in a section.Then a section of your choice.I chose chicken curray with a varity of diffrent vegtables like carrots and spouts.I have a section for chips which i have decided to have gravy on.I then pick a desert.

I go for the the healthy option of a portion of fruit.I reach down for the scoop and pick it up.I dig the scoop into the strawberrys,Then the grapes and finally the kwie fruit.I then have to ruin my creation by adding two dolops of chocolate ice cream on.
Finally I take my food to the table and start eatting slowly.I start with the chips then the vegtables.I then work my way on to the curray and then the fruit.
Today has been a very busy day.

While I'm eatting everybody was talking.

"So Sophie why did you just run off earlier."Sean asked.Everybody looked at me.

I swollow the food i had just had in my mouth.The words did not seem to want to form in my mouth.It was like my brain had turned to mush.Why couldnt I say it?Callum must have seen my struggle to even get my words out of my mouth as I felt his arm round my waistHe gently pulled me towards him.

"It just reminds her of something upsetting."Callum said clearly.He looks at me and smiles.I smile back.It was like everything I felt he did to.I felt butterflies inside of me.It was like they was going to take hold of me.I finished my dinner last and go to get down from the table.

"Sophie can me and Nick please see you in our office please..."

Ohhh whats going to happen now.Is she in trouble....
