Lauren heard their apartment door open; Camila was back from the grocery store. "Hey Camz", Lauren said from the kitchen. "Hey babe." Camila said while approaching her girlfriend, hugging her from behind and giving her a loving kiss on the right side of her neck. "Mmmm" Lauren said, loving the affection. "It smells so good in here! What are you making?" Camila asked. It was the day of their anniversary and Lauren wanted to surprise Camila with a nice dinner and spend the evening at their apartment, just the two of them. "I'm making your favorite, lasagna." Lauren said while turning around and pulling Camila close and kissing her lovingly on the lips. "I love you." she mumbled while giving her girlfriend little kisses all over her face. "I love you too!" Camila said with a smile on her face."Now get out of the kitchen, Let me put away the groceries and finish making dinner. I want today to be special for you." Lauren said. "Every day is special with you by my side." Camila replied, giving her girlfriend another peck on the lips before disappearing out of the kitchen and into their bedroom to change into something cute for Lauren. She decided on a grey crop top, a red mini skirt and black high heels. She put on some makeup and the fragrance Lauren loved so much and went downstairs. She lit what looked like a million candles so their whole apartment was covered in lights all the way from the living room to their bedroom. Right after Camila was done lighting all the candles, Lauren called from out of the kitchen; dinner was ready. Camila walked into the kitchen and her eyes widened at the sight. There was a table set for two, dimmed lighting, some candles on the table and a huge bouquet of red roses, one for every week they had been together. All Camila could do was stare at Lauren. She was wearing a tight black dress, with matching black high heels. Camila couldn't take her eyes off her girlfriend. "Like what you see?" Lauren chuckled. "You look stunning, babe!" Camila said while walking towards Lauren and giving her a passionate kiss. "So do you Camz." Lauren said after they separated from their kiss. They walked over to the table and sat opposite one another. Camila grabbed Lauren's hand and interlocked their fingers. "Thank you for making us dinner babe. You know how much I love to stay in and spend time together, just the two of us." Lauren kissed Camila's hand and looked at her as if she was her favorite thing in the world. Camila started blushing and told her to stop staring at her. "Haha, why?" Lauren smirked. "Can't I just look at my beautiful girlfriend? I love you Camila and you're the most beautiful thing in the entire world. I'm sorry for not being able to take my eyes off you. I want to take it all in; your beauty, every inch of your body, every second we get to spend together.." She gushed, "You are the best thing that ever happened to me, and I love you, so much. You're my everything." Camila melted at Lauren's words and got all teary eyed. "Aww, don't cry babe." Lauren said while wiping away the tear that rolled down Camila's cheek. "I'm sorry.." Camila sniffled, "I'm just so happy and I feel beyond lucky to have you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me too. I can't imagine a life without you, I love you so much Lauren" She said. They both leaned in for a loving kiss. An hour later, they finished dinner. Lauren got up to put away their empty plates. Camila had something else in mind. She walked up to Lauren, spun her around, pinned her to the wall and looked her straight into the eye. "I know something way more fun than cleaning up."
