Since they were childs, they all excelled at something and were named savants for their almost unnatural Talents:
Spyro, the blacksmith who could make or fix anything without seeing it at all before.
James, the genius who could solve anything in less than a minute
Ashleigh, the girl who could see even the most subtle of emotions by a person's actions
May, The girl who's voice could soothe even the most corrupted of hearts
Jane, the girl whose mind could remember even the smallest details. These savants came together as orphans to make a name for themselves. The angels have recognized these savants and have sent stones of power to them. But they are not the only ones.

"I need my special hammer..." I stated to Ashleigh
"On it." She replied. A few moments later she was back with the hammer and two diet cokes. "Thank you Ashleigh." As she handed me the hammer I started hammering my special Brass pegs... My pegs were engineered to stop people from being able to take my works of art apart (no I am not being selfish, just trying to keep my engineering secret safe)
No one knew how to make the things I made... No one. I placed my last peg into place and hammered it to expand. Satisfied, I picked my masterpiece up... A saber capable of using energy to coat the blades edge through focused beam emitters... If that didn't work
it had a blink device which let me short distance teleport into melee range of enemies. But that was only a power focused into a stronger power. "Let's test it." I stepped back and got into my fighting stance... I squeezed the handle to activate the lever that engaged the energy coat. Instantly. A neon blue light danced around it's edge. I swiped it at the diet coke can, and it split cleanly in two. Well, clean enough that is... The coke spilled onto the table, but it was ok. "The Chroma glow works, so that's a start." I said, clicking the lever once more to disengage the Chroma glow. "If we can do that. Then the node may just work." The node, named 'End's Hand' was probably one of my hardest projects to say. Once it bonded with it's host's aura. The host could tap into a very strong power. The problem was finding an aura strong enough to bond with the Angel stone, in which the power resided in. I believe that I might have a strong enough aura, but if I don't... Then. Well. I don't know what will happen. "Ashleigh, this may very well go horribly wrong. If it does, take over for me ok?"
"You're strong enough. If you can't, no one can." She replied.
"Don't pleasure me Ash. There are many stronger." I assured her.
With that, I clicked the node. Instantly, my body felt like it was engulfed in Lava. Every inch of skin felt like it was melting, I gritted my teeth and endured it. Everything finally stopped as I blacked out. I woke into a void, a teal-neon blue silhouette appeared in front of me. "Why do you seek the power of The Angel Of Annihilation?" It asked
"I wish to send the source of these demons to the void, there is nothing more." I answered.

"Very well. You do not harbor ill intent towards the world or his creations. So I shall partner with you, and together, We shall annihilate our enemies."
