Your life should have been easy, you were born into a noble family, you had a beautiful home and you had a caring older brother. The only problem was that you were a neko with cat ears and a tail and your brother had dog ears and tail. Your parents were terrified of you and him so you spent most of your life inside the house not being able to leave in fear of being discovered by social media.
Your parents always try to become trading partners with other countries,so people would come to your house often and when that happened they put you in a cute dress(and had you wrap you tail around your waist which was painful) ,put your hair into a pretty bun(and forcing your ears to be hidden in your hair) and had you stand off to the side for most of the time unless your mother asked you to get something for her guests who had only thought that you were just being well-mannered.
Once the parties ended your brother would come out and walk you back to the room that you two shared, let your hair back down making your ears spring up, and let you change into something that let your tail hang out freely. Sometimes if if was a major party,your parents would have your brother(his name is Derek btw)go out dressed up and have him say reasons why they should become trading partners.
One day while your serving one of their guests you trip and drop the food. Your mother dragged you back to your room and hurt you.(I don't want to put this as a mature story so no violent themes) Derek then realized that he had to get you out of the house, so late at night he told you to pack your most comfortable clothes , some warm clothes, a jacket and 2 pairs of shoes, you did as you were told and he did the same and he told you to stay quiet and he began to lead you out of the mansion.
