Vera's P.O.V.

My eyes snapped open when I realize what I've done, I could've killed my mate! How could I let her out so recklessly! I shoot forward in my bed an- wait. Bed!? I look around me to find that I'm in my room, with Caden asleep on the couch, and Myra sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Sis?" I said, unsurely. Her head snapped towards me, her eyes filled with tears. She flung herself at me and hugged me tight.

"I thought I'll never find you! I searched everywhere, but then that rouge found me and forced me to help them! You know I'm not a fighter, I was so scared." She sobbed into my shoulder, I could feel her tears soaking my shirt, but i couldn't care less at the moment.

I hugged her back tightly, glad that I have a family member in my arms.

"How are you still alive? I thought the King killed you all?" I asked pulling her back to look at her. She had the same black hair I once had, with big red eyes. She sniffled, before bursting into tears again. I heared the click of the door and looked up to see Caden giving me a sad smile before shutting the door behind him.

"I ran away, but after 10 years of searching for you, a witch cast a spell on me and made me freeze, and she kept me a prisoner, I don't how long I was frozen, but the witch's family line stopped so the curse was broken, that was 30 years ago. I continued searching for you though, I knew you weren't dead!" she hugged my tighter before burrying her face in the crook of my neck. "3 years ago that bastard, Ryker, kidnapped me and threatened me, I didn't want to die untill I found my mate or you, so I did what he asked me to do, but I didn't know he'll force me to become a Luna for this pack!" I rubbed her back as she cried her eyes out, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

"Don't worry Myra, I'll protect you from now on, but honey you were frozen for a very long time. I'm sorry i wasn't there but I thought you all died."

"How long of life did I miss?" She finally calmed down and her sobs turned into sniffles.

"More than 80,000 years." Her eyes widened imensley, it seemed like a light bulb went on in her head, becuase she suddenly stood up and pushed away from me.

"That means your more than 80,000 years old! How the fuck did you manage to live for that long!?"

"The moon goddess cursed me, she turned me into a hybrid, a monster, an outcast." I replied sadly. She gasped and immediatly pulled me into another hug.

"You stayed alone for all that time!? Did you meet your mate?"

"I did, the Alpha of this pack, the one that was sprawled out on the caoch. I met him a few days ago while searching for my mate in the Supernatural College." She squeled like a teenage girl and stood up.

"I met mine too! Guess who!? You know him!" She said jumping up and down excitedly.

"Who? If it's Luke then may god be with you." I said with amusement.

"Hey! And what exactly is wrong with my mate!?" She exclaimed angerly. I just sat there gaping at her. Luke is my sister's mate!?

"No way! He's kind of an idiot but oh well! I'm so happy for you sis!"

"Thanks, I thought you wouldn't approve."

"Why wouldn't I approve, it's also your dicesion not mine." She just hugged tightly. "By the way what happened after I lunged, becuase I kind of blacked out?"
