Outbreak: How it all began

The Outbreak

Hello so yes this is my first story so it's gonna be a little bit bad. Grammar will be rough but i'll fix it. So update every 2 weeks or so i don't really know cause i'm busy in school , but i'll update ASAP.

It was an average day in Los Angeles. Sun was shining, kids were playing and i was at home. I was playing games on my xbox. For me it was just another day to waste. Little did i know my life would change. While i was playing, i was disturbed by a loud explosion outside. I wondered what it was, so i peeked through the windows. What i saw was horrific. People were being shot by soldiers, but something seemed odd. These people were bloody. I locked my doors and closed my windows. I turned my T.V on and switched to the news channel.The reporter said " Zombie outbreaks are spreading all over the city. People are trying to evacuated. Death tolls are rising very quickly. The zombie virus was originated years ago. From a flu that spread from bite by an infected animal. Those bitten were witnessed to have a very disturbing hunger for flesh. They were eager to bite and eat flesh which made the virus contagious very quickly.".

That got me really worried. I called my parents and my brother in Ohio. Luckily they escaped and evacuated early. I told them that i would travel to Ohio when i have the chance. I hung up and started to pack up. I got my kitchen knife and a crowbar from the basement. I remembered my friend Shaun. I gave him a call to see if he was alright.He said that they evacuated at the school but the soldiers left. So i decided to help him. So i ran to my garage and got into my Silver Hyundai Sonata. I drove outside. People were shooting and that made me worried that i might get shot.So i drove much faster. I arrived at the school. I saw some military vehicles. I scavenged the cars to find weapons. I got a Glock 19 with a full magazine. I put it in my pocket and grabbed my crowbar. I called him again to know his location."HELP" someone screamed. So i rushed to see my friend Shaun stuck in the janitors closet. There were about 3 zombies. I smacked them in the head to make sure they die.I opened the door to see Shaun, Alex and Catherine.

" Are you guys alright?" I asked. " Yeah we are" Shaun answered

"Except for Alex" Catherine Spoke

" Yeah Alex got hit in the leg by a stray bullet from a gun" Shaun explained

"No i'm fine really" Alex said

"Let's get you guys out of here" i said

I gave Shaun a knife and Catherine helped Alex walk.

We got in my car and i drove back to my house. We entered and i started barricading the house with wood and nails. Me and Shaun moved the Couch to block the door. Catherine's Mom was a doctor so she knew how to patch Alex up.

"So" Alex said "What will we do next?" He added

"We should escape" Catherine suggested

"No it's too dangerous" Shaun said

"Yeah cars are exploding and there are many people with guns, we might get shot" I said

"Besides" I added " I have food ans water that should last us for a minimum of 5 days"

"We should search for medicine" Alex suggested

"We should do it tomorrow" Shaun said

"Yeah let's rest for now" Catherine said
