I look around quickly at all the people swimming, surfing, laughing, and just enjoying life. Boy do I wish I could be carefree like these idiots. But I can't, so back to my mission it is. I wait till people strip out of the pants, leaving their wallets in them, or when they're not looking, so I can pickpocket them.
In ten minutes, I've collected 16 wallets and some stray spare change from the sand. I look up as a man with brown hair and piercing blue eyes saunters towards me. A bit of me panics, but I play it cool.
"Hi, my name is-" I begin, trying to act innocent, but he quickly cuts me off. "Where'd you get all the wallets?" He asks "uh I..well...that's none of your business!" I snap. He looks amused and raises an eyebrow "ah but I think it is because you took my friends wallet." He says with a smirk.
I stare at him with my mouth a bit open "you're not going to call the cops are you?" I ask. He shakes his head "but I'd like to get my friends wallet back. He needs it." He motions out to his friends who are surfing and having a grand ol' time. I sigh. I won't be able to eat without that guys 100 bucks, but I don't wanna go to jail. I hand him the wallet reluctantly.
"You know I won't be able to eat now." I whine.
He purses his lips "what about you stay with me? I have a very big house, you can come and stay as long as you need." He offers and my eyes widen in shock. No, I couldn't stay with a stranger. I wouldn't.
