AN So here's part 8 of Demon Luke as promised. I don't know if I'll get to all the ships tonight, but I can sure as hell try. I hope I made this easy to understand. I put my own little twist on things, so no it's not going to be accurate to the Christian religion or any religion, just the ideas of angels and demons basically. If I offend anyone, please let me know and I'll do my best to fix it :) I hope you guys enjoy this shift in the story and let me know how soon you're ready for a part 9 (don't forget this is only going as high as ten)

Second Person

"Luke. Y/N. I'm God. Welcome to Heaven." Of course, it wasn't really God that was saying these words. More like the voice of God. God didn't have a physical entity. God was everywhere. But there had to be something to voice His teachings. And that was The Voice. The Voice of God is a booming, low-note, voice with a hint of an accent. Not a definite one, but kind of like a mixture of all the accents in one. A complicated one to understand if you're so used to hearing Australian accents all the time like you and Luke.

After ascending to Heaven, you were sat down at what could be described as like a meeting table. You assumed this was what happened when you broke the rules and fell in love with a demon. The Voice of God interrupted their thoughts, and Luke, being the overprotective demon he is, squeezed onto your hand tightly so you knows that you are protected.

The Voice of God looked at the two disapprovingly before shaking his head. "Do you know why I brought you two here today?" He asked, his tongue thick with many accents. Luke squinted to try and see if he heard it right.

You both shook their head no, and the Voice continued. "You two have been a very difficult thing to control and stop, and of course, I have been working with your boss to stop this madness. You have broken the rules. A demon, or rather an incubus, is not to fall in love with his clients, and a human girl is supposed to be interested in boys her species."

"Wait," you interrupted. you had a habit of doing that, and Luke gritted his teeth. You were already in enough trouble, why did you have to open her big mouth to get you into more? "You're not disappointed that I lost my virginity?"

"Well that couldn't be helped, due to the job of this young lad here." The Voice was a bit Irish when His tongue uttered that.

"What about the fact that I liked it."

"Also can't be helped, it's a pleasure all humans were given. Though I'm not too happy that you did it before marriage, but that could also not be helped due to his job as well. But that is not the point. The point is, well, I'll have to get to that when I'm done with everything."

You two nodded, eager for The Voice to continue his words. "I've brought you two today, to tell you the way out of this predicament that you're in. There will be no more hiding behind doors and running from your boss. There's a way out. But first, a story."

"What kind of story?" you interrupt again, and Luke rolls his eyes, squeezing your hand tighter around yours.

"His story." The Voice nods towards Luke.

"I have a story?" This was the first time Luke spoke up since you had reached Heaven, and both the Voice and you were at least a little bit surprised.

The Voice dismissed it. "Yes, the story of how you are where you are today. You weren't always an incubus, Luke. To get to be the kind of demon you are today, you first had to do some things on Earth that earn you the spot you have. For example, in Heaven, if you were a doctor that worked hard to cure cancer in patients, you become an angel that decides whether or not a patient dies. If you were the same doctor, but a corrupted one, you go to Hell, and decide who dies. It's not always decided right away, the angel and demon sometimes conflict over who dies, the case gets brought before a council, and whoever makes the most compelling argument wins. Almost like a jury. Sometimes the light wins, and sometimes the dark wins.
