Chapter Three: The Co-Worker

It will say that I updated chapter three, but I just did some changes in punctuation and spelling, I also dfixed a problem when Ryan told Kate that the ex-boyfriends name was Max, when I was supposed to be Jake,
I also made corrections to all the other chapters

Kate P.O.V:

I walked out of the interrogation room and Kevin was waiting for me. "I looked into her work and one of  her colleagues says she thinks she knows who might of killed Lexi." Said Kevin. "Great where is she?" I asked. "She's on her way now."He replied. "Good Job Kevin." "After I talked with the colleague she said that about three weeks ago, Lexi and her boyfriend, Jake, had a big messy break up." I told everyone. "Great work detectives, And Mr.Castle!" Said Captain Gates. "Go find Jake and find out what he knows." Said Captain Gates. "Yes Sir." I replied.

Thirty Minutes Later:

We walked up to Jakes apartment door. We heard a man yelling that wasn't Jake. So Espo kicked down the door. We all yelled, "NYPD!" When we burst into the bedroom we realized that the yelling was Jake and somebody else in bed having sex! "What the hell are you doing in my house!" Yelled Jake. "Now get out!" He yelled. After the two men got dressed the other guy left. And it was just me, Espo, Kevin and Jake. "So why did you burst into my home like that?" Asked Jake. "Well we thou- " he got cut off by Jake. "You thought that I was hurting my boyfriend, Wow, talk about homophobia." Jake said. "No it's not like that." Espo replied. "Well let's get to business." I said. "So what's been going on between you and Lexi?" I asked. "Well after I told Lexi I was gay, we decided that we needed to end the relationship." He said. "And if you see her tell her I'm sorry." "Well I'm afraid that's not possible."I said. "Why?" He replied. "I'm sorry to tell you this, but Lexi died yesterday."  "Oh my god How did she die?" He asked while he started to cry. "She died from a gunshot wound to the chest." I said. "I think we're done here, if you have anything else you need to tell us just call this number." I said as I handed a company card. "Thanks for your time." We went back to the precinct, and when we got there Captain Gates stopped us. "I need you guys to check out Lexi's house." She said. "Why?" I asked. "The landowner says they have something you want to see." "Ok we're on it."
