Victoria's POV

Just one step...

Just one step and it will all be over...

3rd Person POV

Cars honking trying to stop her. People huddling around her, trying to stop her from jumping down the bridge.

Victoria's POV

I couldn't hear the cars honking, the only thing i can hear is voices in my head telling me to jump. As i was about to jump, I felt a warm hand pulling me, i turned and saw my best friend Sam. Tears were falling down from his cheek, "Please Victoria, don't leave me..." he said between sobs. " Please, don't do it... Don't leave me, you're the only one I have in this world who actually give a shit about me, don't do it...p...l...e...a...s...e..." he said crying harder now.

Its true, we only had each other, his parents died not too long ago in a car accident. My family moved to Rome, Italy for business purposes about 9 months ago. They said I needed to stay here to take care of our house since I'm the oldest among 6 siblings. So I only had Sam. I couldn't take it anymore...

2 Years ago...

Victoria's POV

Its finally the day!! Im off to college! The day, that i've been waiting for my whole life is finally here. I took my bags and packed. And by pack i mean, stuff everything inside. I was wearing a plain black shirt, maroon jacket, sweat pants and sneakers. Everyone says that i dress up like a dude but i don't give two flying fuck about it. As i finished packing and checked my room if i forgotten anything important. Before i left, i check my stuff.

Things to bring to college:

3. Books - /

4. Teddy - /

5. "Woman Toiletries"- /

" check, check and check" I said to myself. I went and said goodbye to my family and drove off to college with my boyfriend since he insisted to give me a ride there.

When i arrived, I was utterly shocked by how beautiful and how enormous the place was." Okay babe,I'll see you later at the party alright?"I gave a quick peck on his lips and say goodbye. I grabbed my bags. Thats right, BAGS. I had like 4 bags i needed to carry. As i was carrying my bags, I tripped on a rock and fell on my face. Like litterally on my face, like "spalt" right on face at the pathway. I groaned and felt a hand grabbing my arm to pull me up. "Are you okay?" the anonymous person asked. "Yea I'm fine, thanks" I said. I grabbed all of my bags but the guy stopped me. "let me" he said with a smile on his face. "Thanks, ...' i said. " Oh, how rude of me. Im Sam Evans (pic above), Call me S or Sam and what might be this beautiful lady name be?" I blushed as he said. "Victoria Miller, call me Vic or Victoria". "Your beautiful name suits with your beautiful face." He said with a smirk on his face. "Thank you" I said turning away trying to hide my blush.

As i reached my room, "Oh! my room is just,right across yours" Sam said in surprised. "Alright, I better get inside and unpack! By the way, Thank you bringing my bags! If u feel bored or anything, just come in my room, i brought my X-Box." I said entering my room. "Alright! Same goes to you! See ya! bye!" he said entering his room.

As i opened my door, I saw a flat screen tv with 2 beam bags and a single bed. "This is some top notch college!" I whispered to myself. "Well I guess i don't have any roommates" I settled down all my stuff on my bed and started unpacking.

I finished unpacking about an hour later. I took out my X-Box and plugged in all the wires, I wore my gaming headphones, grabbed my controller, sat down on the beam bag and started playing FIFA15. I was too concentrated that i didn't realise Sam came in and sat on the other beam bag beside me. "GOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!!" i shouted then turned to my side and turned silent realising Sam was looking at me with a smirk on his face. "May i join?" he said giggling. "Umm yea sure!" i said passing him a controller. While we were playing, my phone rang, "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP" "Sam, pause the game for awhile," I looked at my phone and the caller ID was 'babe <3'. i answered it without hesitation. "Hi babe! I thought you forgotten about me. I miss you too baby!!!!By the way, you u still going to the party?" While I was talking, Sam said "aight, I'm gonna go and get some frozen yoghurt down the hall, want some?" he asked grabbing his wallet. "yea sure, i'll pay u back later" " No worries, I'll be back in 20"

Sam's POV

My heart was shattered into pieces when she was talking to her 'boyfriend'... I felt like bursting in tears. Yea i know it might be crazy to like a girl I just met but for me it was like love at first sight...

This chapter isn't that long but i can promise u the others will be longer!Hope u like this book! It will be a sad/angry part coming in the next chapter.
