Friday morning.
Clara practically skipped to the coffee shop.
It was Niall at the counter this time.
"Clary!" Was the name he affectionately called her in the past week.
"Hey, Niall. I'm still working on your nickname. I'll have before the end of next week, trust me." Clara smiled at him.
"Well, is it the usual again?" He asked, waiting at the register.
"No, Bianca actually wants something different. Some mocha frappe." Clara rubbed her face with her hand.
"Alright!" Niall said with a happy tone. His face went serious.
"Hey, what's up? I've never seen you tired."
"You've known me a week, Ni." Clara sighed.
"Hey! Nickname!" Niall poked her arm.
Clara laughed.
"You're like the older brother I never wanted." She commented.
It was Niall's turn to laugh.
"Don't worry about me. It's just school stuff. I can't figure out my science class." Clara reassured him.
Louis walked out of the back room.
"What is back there that has all of you in it all the time?!" Clara exclaimed, gesturing to where Louis walked out.
His response was just a mischievous smile.
"I see Bianca has changed her regular." He glanced at what had been rung up.
"Niall! You haven't even started making the coffee yet!" He actually sounded surprised.
"Sorry. Clara was telling me how she couldn't figure out science." Niall mumbled.
"Alright, I'll make it." Louis sighed, like everything fell to him.
"So dramatic there, Louis." Clara giggled.
She chatted with Niall and Louis made the coffee.
He seemed to be taking extra care with the mocha frappe.
Clara paid and was about to leave before smacking her forehead, and almost spilling her coffee.
"Get Liam!" She announced.
As if on cue, Liam walked out of the back room.
Clara quickly wrote down the address on another napkin.
"And you have my number if you guys can't make it. I'll see you at 7." She grins and heads out the door.
Proud of her confidence, she springs back to the flat.
The girls were in the living room, oddly.
"Are you- cleaning? Already?" Clara inquired. As normal, they all rushed over for their drinks and Clara tried not to fall over.
"Yes, because we know you won't do any later." Vera replied.
"I take offense to that." Clara sipped her macchiato.
"You'll probably be busy trying to do homework, before declaring its stupid and ask us for the answers." Bianca told her.
Clara fumed a moment before breathing.
"Well, the boys are coming tonight. No, Vera. Not like that." Clara held a finger up to her perverted friend.
Vera laughed. "Sometimes I swear you beg for the comments."
Chrissy sighed. "How do I deal with you guys?"
"You love us." Joanna threw an arm over her shoulders.
"I'm going to be honest, I thought we all would've killed each other by now."
"Well, Clara and Vera will be first, then. They're going to kill each other soon." Bianca gestured over to where Clara and Vera were yelling at each other. It didn't make sense, but hey, lots of things don't. Especially when it came to those two.
"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THE LAUNDRY." Vera shouts.
"WELL, YOU WERE GOING TO DO THE DISHES BUT I DONT SEE THAT DONE." Clara retorts.
Everyone else sighs.
"We're going to be late." Chrissy tells them.
"As long as I don't have to sit next to HER in the cab." Vera and Clara say, glaring at each other.
Then, dissolving into laughter.
Man, this life is weird.
