Approaching the house...

Approaching the empowering, menacing house, Dr Hesketh frail hands shook on the steering wheel as he pulled up to the house. If he was scared a few minutes ago then what was the feeling now. Very scared would be to put it lightly. Many had lived in the house before the family Dr Hesketh was supposed to see and each has been claimed, replaced and now waited for their next prey.
He walked up the moss ridden garden path, his aged leather shoes rattling on the stone as his shivering claimed the rest of his body. The weird thing was though, that he had no idea why he was so scared. Maybe it was the neighbouring graveyard that obviously hadn't seen a soul for decades. Or maybe it was the house that was more like a masion that made you feel as if you should bow before it. Or was it the tingle on your spine, the view of something in the corner of your eye and the feeling of someone watching you. All we're symptoms of being taken to death, all of which had been suffered by all of the previous visitors...
