CHAPTER 1
The day was dark. I lazily slip the covers off hoping the sun would peek out soon. I wrote down a quick grocery list and slid on my uniform which consisted of black skinnies, a skater graffic tee, some black graffiti converse i painted, and a small half jacket to cover my pale ice cold arms. I put my many bracelets on, my big black hoops, my red necklace hung around my neck, and my red engraved ring.
I tugged on my charcoal black hair with my brush and fixed my red bangs to the sad. I grabbed my bag walking outside in the dim light... "ahh sunrise!" i strolled down the front steps and rand my hand over the newly painted railing. I called back up the steps "COREY!!! HURRY OR YOU'LL BE LATE!!!" A big guy walked out yawning in his black-T, khakis, and air walks. He ran his fingers through his black. "Why do we get up this early again?" i giggled and jingles the car keys. "cuz we do early grocery shopping. Because we have to get our paychecks every Saturday.. and 3 we hate being out after dark." i grinned and opened the car door sliding in. Corey slid in the passengers seat and laid it back, "Wake me when we get at the store." i nodded at my older brother, and i started the car and took off at 6:30 in the morning. i Rolled up in the Stop-N-Shop parking lot to see about 4 cars.
I slowly leaned over to Corey and put my lips to his ear "COREY!!! WAKE UP WE ARE HERE!!!!" he jumped so high out of his seat he hit his head on the roof of the car. "Warn me next time... got the grocery list?" I nodded and opened my car door getting out and walking in. "Dearest brother of mine will you go and get the freezer food" i did my cute little pouting face and puppy eyes. "Fine." he grabbed the list out of my hand and slowly sauntered over to the first 3 aisles. I grabbed a cart and walked to the very back of the store where i bought at least 100$ worth of groceries. I met up with Corey at the front "Ready?" i chimed in my sweet voice.
Within 5 minutes we were already back into the car "Is Savannah coming over today?" Corey looked at me intense and replied "We are having some problems... and is your lil boy Michael coming?" I grinned widely "Of-course!!! name 1 day we haven't spent with each other for the past 5 months!" he actually tried thinking of one. "Your right... well im sure ya'll won't have problems, and yeah Savannah is coming over.. could you be our lil counselor again?" i nodded and pulled into the house i noticed Michael's car pulled in the garage (thankfully we had a 2 car garage) i got out and closed the door grabbing a few bags of groceries.
"MICHAEL?!?!" a man with brownish hair, broad shoulders, 5'11, and bright green eyes(contacts) stepped out and engulfed me in a hug. "BABY!!! I MISSED YOU! I haven't seen you since yesterday! Need help with the groceries Baby?" I smiled so big feeling his arms around me, i breathed in his scent and felt warmth, wishing he would never let go. My heart beat faster as he called me Baby, i looked up and looked past his contacts getting lost in his amazingly beautiful hazel eyes. I smiled bigger "i missed you to baby. and yes... i do need some help" i barely said the last few words. Being here with him took my breathe away.
I took one last look into his amazing eyes and handed him a few bags, frowning that i had to let go. "you remember where they go im sure." i smiled assuring him i was fine and walked into the dim lit kitchen setting my groceries on the counter. "Baby!!! i need to change so... ill be a second!!!" i lightly hollered into the living room where he still brought in groceries. I slowly dragged my cold body to the bedroom when i felt some warmth hit my neck.
Arms slowly slid around my torso and waist lips pressed against my neck as there was a slowly steady breathing. "Baby... i missed you... are you cold?" i gently nodded closing my eyes as he slowly, gracefully, and gently spun me around wrapping his arms around me again.He lifted me and sat me gently on my bed. He slowly leaned over, as my eyes shut, and i feel two lips press against mine. Our lips part and it becomes warm. It hit me so fast Adrenalin rushes through my lips to my fingers, legs, toes. Everything wanted him there. In that room. With me.The kiss lasted forever. He softly pulled away and kissed my cheek softly. Adrenaline died quickly but i still sat there in his arms. warm as i'll ever be. "Ill never... get tired of this." he manages in a whisper. i couldn't even speak my lips parted but no noise escaped. Speechless.
My door creaked open but i was to lost in the moment to care. Eventually my eyes slowly slid up to see Savannah in the doorway. She grinned tossed a little square packet at me in a harsh tone saying "Don't get pregnant whore." i glared and began to get up his grip slightly tightened around me and i looked at him. "Ignore her... she doesn't understand baby."i couldn't look away. "But you and i do... i love you... " a tear rolled down my cheek and his hand grazed my cheek where the tear was. "Why would you cry.?" i looked right in his eyes. "Because we cant stay like this forever..." he grinned "We will... ill make sure of it" he kissed my forehead and i practically melted feeling his lips on my face.
"JESSSSSIIICCCCAAAAAA" i sighed hearing the deep tone of my brothers voice through the house. I looked at Michael who already seemed to have gotten up me in his arms. "you coming to baby? " he nodded. "I wouldn't leave your side." We walked in to see Corey and Savannah into it AGAIN!!! I ran over to them before Corey got violent. "YOU LITTLE ***** WHY WOULD YOU SLEEP WITH DILLION YOUR WITH ME!" he raised an arm back and i jumped in front of it he drew back and before he could stop, he hit me so hard i fell back landing on the floor clutching my cheek. Michael ran to me and looked at Corey grabbing him.
I still laid in the floor crying and holding my face both kneeled by me i reached my hand out and it was Michael. He pulled me up and held me like a baby rocking me back and forth he whispered in my ear but i couldn't hear over my sobs. Corey leaned against the couch and looked depressed "i-i-i-im so sorry.. j-Jess... i...." id finally stopped sobbing and finally collected myself. "Its Alright... " i said standing slowly wiping my tears, red mark across my face.
I looked around and Savannah was gone, "ya'll finally break up?" he nods... i sighed. All of a sudden my ear started ringing i put my hand to my temple and smiled so they didn't suspect anything. Just then i glanced out the window and a shadow moved and ran off, "Uhm..." They looked at me "Whats wrong baby?" i looked up at Michael "Nothing... thought i saw something... its getting dark... you better get home." I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him deeply. He got into his car and left blowing me a kiss. I went to the fridge and turned to go to my room Corey standing in front of me "i didn't mean to... i mean... it..." I nodded and hugged him "i know." I walked to my bedroom and laid down closing my curtains and finding a strange letter on my pillow. It was on a custom stationary, i slowly opened it all it says is "it's time. i'm coming". i sat it on my table figuring Savannah left it for me. I shrugged it off and slowly drifted to sleep.
