War of the Titans

Titan War Part 3

Calebs POV (rest of the story)
I looked up from the Titan I had just stabbed through the chest with my sword. Typhon was above the battle and was waiting for me. We ordered our forces to stop fighting as I flew up to meet him.
"I've lost many good men from this Typhon. I will not lose anymore." I said.
"And it seems my oldest brothers are dead and many others are." He said. "But I cannot let you kill anymore. Let this final fight be between us."
"Agreed. And just to make sure your army can't do anything else.." I raised a barrier around my city and transported all my injured and dead warriors inside and the Titan's outside. "Are you ready Typhon?"
"Almost. Just one more thing..." The living Titans all collapsed to the ground and I watched their souls fly into Typhon. Five billion Titan souls added to Typhons power. "Now I'm ready for you to die."
I raised Charles' mace. Typhon and I charged at eachother and blocked eachothers blows. We were almost evenly matched. And we had both just begun.
We both blasted balls of fire, lightning, shadows and energy at eachother. Most of mine blasted through his but some of his had hit me too. The entire earth and sky seemed to react to everything we did. The ground shook, lightning struck the ground and a storm had covered the battlefield. This made our first fight look like nothing.
We did this for what seemed like hours, attacking and fighting at our full strength and destroying the land around us. Finally I landed a blow that broke his mace in half. Than I kicked him down to the ground below us. When he got up I slammed the mace acrossed his face and sent him flying a few hundred feet.
"I... I cannot be defeated by you." He said as he got up. Than the Titan's than were dead when he arrived, thousands of them turned to energy and flew towards him and the rest it was only their souls than he absorbed. "Now Hero, prepare for death!"
He flew into the sky and started to change. His body grew till it was over 600 feet tall. His skinned changed to fiery scales, his tongue became forked and his eyes had changed into slits like a snakes. Giant scaled wings erupted from his back and his legs changed to a mass of hissing snakes. His teeth had changed to sharp fangs and his face resembled a dragon's.
"You scaly son of a bit-" Was all I got out before he smacked me into the ground and spit fire at me. "Ok well that hurt more than the hole I had in my chest.. Wait a minute I've been stabbed through the chest twice!"
Before I could say anything else he grabbed me and beat me till I was broken and bloody. I tried to fight back but even at my full power I might as well have just been a bee stinging him. Finally he held me up by one of my legs and held me close to his face.
"What's the matter Hero?" He said. "Not as tough as you thought?"
It was now or never. I threw my warhammer at his face and put all of my power and strength into it. It hit his face and exploded with enough force that made a dozen nuclear bombs look like firecrackers. He stumbled back a step and regained his balance.
"Nice try. But a fruitless effort." He said. "But if its any consolation that really fucking hurt."
I closed my eyes. There was nothing else I could do. I failed. Humanity was doomed. I waited for the final strike but instead I heard Typhon scream and let me go.
I opened my eyes and saw the others flying around him and attacking him. Cayden flew around him shooting arrows at him that exploded. Matthew threw his trident at Typhon's chest. Connor slammed his maul into Typhon's face, which was already fucked up enough by me but that didn't help. Wyatt flew high above and threw his spear at Typhon's throat which poured out blood.
They fought as hard as they could. I swear I saw another person that almost looked like Charles there but I guess I just took a harder hit to the head than I thought.
They were weaker than I was but still they fought. They wouldn't give in no matter what. As I fell to the ground something picked me up and carried me down.
Whoever it was set me on the ground and held my head up. They had on a crystalline power armor that looked like an angel. They had a sword, combat knife and a bow on their back. Bright green eyes shown through the helmet and dark brown hair with blonde highlights covered part of her face. Only one person looked that beautiful when ready for war. My soon to be wife Ashley.
"Ashley!" I said as I tried to hold her but felt the pain of broken ribs as I got up. I fell back down and she put her hands on my chest.
"Caleb sit still." She said as she healed my body. The entire time I was being healed she went on about how much she missed me, how much she cried, how glad she was I was back and everything else.
I grabbed her and kissed her. "I am back. And I'll explain it all after this." I said. I got up but stumbled. She caught me and set me down again.
"Caleb calm down it'll take a minute before you can do anything." She said. Connor fell to the ground behind her and got back up and shot back towards Typhon. She got that look in her eyes she always got when she was about to do something stupid. "Caleb sit back. I'm gonna help them real quick."
Her entire body started to change. Her eyes turned to light and giant white wings sprouted from her back. Light started glowing from her body and her skin began glowing. Her hair changed silver and the land around her started to heal.
"Holy shit. When did you learn to do that?" I said.
"My Angelic form?" She said. "After you died."
"Its hot. I love it." I said and laughed.
"Damn right you do." She said and winked at me. Than she flew into the air at Typhon.
She managed to keep up with the guys. She slashed at Typhon and dodged him. She shot arrows at her his face and drove her sword into his eye. As he screamed she shot bolts of light at his eye. Than my world shattered.
Typhon screamed and swung at her and sent her flying into the ground near me. The impact made a crater than went down about 10 feet. I ran down into the crater to her.
"Ashley!" I yelled as I got to her body. She was broken, bloody and her helmet was broken. "Ashley please be ok don't leave me!"
She wasn't breathing and her eyes were closed. I felt for a heartbeat and felt a faint one. I healed her as much as I could but she still wasn't breathing. Than something snapped.
I stood up and screamed. Black fire covered my body. The entire fight stopped with everyone watching me. When the flames cleared I was transformed. I looked like a human dragon hybrid. I grew to be 10 feet tall. My body was covered in black and red dragon scales and my eyes were miniature galaxies. My hands grew claws and giant scaly wings sprouted from my back. My face grew smooth scales on it. Spikes shot out of my shoulders. Black fire and shadows danced around me. I could feel my power increase by over two hundred times it's normal power.
I grabbed Ashley. Light flowed from me into her and she woke up. She looked up and touched the smooth scales on my face.
"Caleb?" She asked.
"It's me. Just in my Chaotic form I think Michael called it." I said. "Like it?"
"Yes my sexy little dragon." She laughed weakly.
"I love you." I said and kissed her. "Now get to safety. I'm ending this." I transported her into the citys barrier.
I grabbed my scythes and flew up to the others. They were beaten and bloody but still ready to fight. Typhon watched me carefully with his good eye. He began shrinking till he was my size.
"Guys sit this out. Typhon is my fight." I said. They all nodded and flew down to the ground. "Let's end this Typhon. Just you and me."
"The only end here is yours." He said. He grabbed the two scythes on his back.
"Not so sure about that. By the way how's that sword in your eye?" I said. He grabbed the sword and tore it out and threw it to the ground. "Now how did that feel?"
"You'll find out after I rip you limb from limb." He said.
"Aw come on Typhon. You know that without me your nothing. You have no purpose." I said. "You even have too much pride. Like now that you've seen I can kill you you shrink down to my size. You love the challenge."
"Don't you humans ever stop talking?" He hissed... Quite literally.
"We do but I just love the anger I give you." I said. "But there's just one thing."
"What's that?" Typhon said. I could see his grip on his scythes tighten and his arms move.
I transported behind him and cut his scythes off at the handles. "I can't let you live any longer." I said and knocked him to the ground.
He caught himself midair. I threw my scythes at him but he shot them away and down to the ground. Next he shot a fireball at me that I deflected into the sky with my sword. The ball exploded and lit up the sky. Blinding Typhon for a second. As he tried to readjust I blasted him with lightning. He screamed and shot lightning back at me.
I spun around the lightning as Typhon grabbed his sword. He began to fight like a cornered animal. Only in addition to slashing he shot comets, lightning, tornadoes and fire at me. I finally broke through his defense and stabbed him through his one arm. I. pulled the blade out and he stabbed me through my arm as well. I headbutted him and pulled the sword out of my arm.
I threw it at him but he caught it. We both were cut, bloody, beaten up and had smoke rolling off of us. The land around us was destroyed and in ruin except for the bodies of the Titans. I looked down at this and that's when he flew higher into the air.
I looked up to see him creating a ball of energy in his hand. I could feel the power from it, if it hit the entire world would explode. I saw five more souls fly to him, the souls of the Elder Titans. The ball of energy began larger and some of his wounds healed.
"That's it! I will not die by your hand!" He yelled. "I will die by my own and I'll take you, this planet and everything with me!" I started to create a ball of energy in my hand. Finally Typhon finished his he looked down one more time at me. "Goodbye Hero! Chaos Wave!"
He shot his attack down in a beam. "Fine you want to name attacks?" I yelled. "Here's mine! Chaos Beam!" I yelled as I shot mine at his.
They collided and everything was blown away. The ground broke apart in places and trees were uprooted. I was losing though. His beam was pushing mine back. I put the rest of my power into it and it started to push his towards him.
"Impossible!" He yelled. "I have my father's strength! My brothers and my entire army! I'm a Titan! How can a human be beating me?"
The beam was a few feet away from him. "It's the fact that I'm human that makes me stronger!" I yelled. "All the hardships I've endured, the brotherhoods I've created, the times I've had that have made me this strong!"
All the important events that happened since I got to Primordial War flashed in my mind. All the good times, the bad and up till now. A tear rolled down my face.
"It's something a monster like you could never understand! I'm not fighting for myself like you!
I'm fighting for everyone I love and care about!" I yelled. The guys yelled up at me and cheered me on. "Most importantly I'm fighting for them! Now die you son of a bitch and rot in hell!"
"No!" Typhon screamed as he was blasted into space. The explosion lit up the sky.
I slowly fell to the ground. I landed and the others came over to me. I laid down and held myself up with one hand while the other was on my knee. I took off my helmet and threw it to the ground.
"Guys it's over." I said panting as they collapsed on the ground next to me. "Its finally over! We did it!" I started laughing and so did they.
"Caleb you better be buying drinks for this!" Matthew laughed.
"I'll buy all the drinks in the world for this!" I said.
"I can't believe we did it guys!" Connor laughed.
"If only all of us could've been here for this..." Wyatt said softly. That killed everyone's mood.
"Yeah I was Charles was here. He would've been happy." Cayden said.
"Too bad I am here." A voice said. We looked back to see Charles standing there in his armor. He grabbed his mace off the ground.
"Charles!" We yelled as we tackled him to the ground hugging him.
"How did you come back?" I asked.
"When you went Chaotic it brought some things back to life. And I was one of them. I also went Herculean." He said as he transformed.
His body grew to be seven feet tall. His hair turned to gold plates, his eyes turned into balls of energy. His skin became plated metal.
"So it was you I saw?" I said. "I thought I was just going crazy."
"I saw him too but I thought the same. Did everyone else?" Wyatt said. Everyone nodded.
"I'm glad your back Charles." I said as I hugged him.
"It's good to be back." He said.
Than something exploded behind us. I looked back and saw Typhon standing there, bloody, cut, burnt and pissed. He shot lightning at the others and sent them flying back.
I acted quickly. I threw my sword at his good arm impaling it. I saw my warhammer on the ground and threw it at his snake legs crushing them. I was gonna enjoy making him suffer. I healed him a little so he would be alive for this next part. I threw my scythes than landed in each of his shoulders.
Next I summoned my chain and wrapped it around him, crushing his ribs and tying him to a tree. I than healed him a little and let the others beat him a little. I summoned my weapons out of him. Than all of us struck.
Matthew threw his trident into his chest. Cayden shot at him with his bow. Connor threw his lance into his stomach. Charles threw his spear into his stomach as well. Wyatt threw his spear into his arm. And to finish it I threw my scythes back into his shoulders, my warhammer back at his legs and my sword through his face. Typhon squirmed for another couple seconds and stopped moving. We removed our weapons from him and than something happened.
I saw Typhon's soul, the one that had absorbed all the other Titans and Erebus, fly out of his body and past us.
We spun around to see it fly into Ethos. He laughed as he absorbed all the power adding it to his own. His eyes turned red and he transformed. He grew devil horns, his skinned turned red, his eyes white like Erebus' and boned wings grew from his back. He laughed and looked up at us.
"Finally! The power! It's all mine!" He yelled. "You fools played right into my plan! To use you to destroy my brother and the Titans and take their power! I never thought you would live though!"
"How could you?" I yelled. "Your own kids died for this!"
"That's exactly why!" He yelled. "They died and all Heaven did was give them a place in there. They never killed the Titans just passed the torch! I will wage war on them now for not avenging my children!"
"What about us?" Charles said.
"I grew fond of you kids." Ethos admitted. "I will not harm you. It will be years before I can wage war on Heaven but I will not harm you unless you try to stop me."
"And we will." Cayden said.
"We're not gonna let you harm the innocent people of Heaven just cause you feel like you were wronged." Matthew said.
"Dad please dont do this." I heard someone say. We all turned to see the souls of the old heroes. It was Caos who was talking. "Heaven gave us what we wanted. The same treatment they gave Charles."
"But they should've struck down the Titans!" He yelled.
Caos looked at me and instantly I knew what he wanted me to do. I nodded back at him. "Dad you're right. Let's do this together."
"Finally my son you see it my way." Ethos said as he went to embrace Caos. While his back was turned I grabbed my scythes and quickly teleported between them and drove both blades into Ethos' heart.
"I am Protector of the Innocent." I said. I drove the scythes deeper into him. "And you will not hurt those people. But you will face judgement in death."
I ripped the scythes out of him and slashed his head off. His body disappeared and I looked back at the old heroes. Caos stood in front of me and the others shook hands with their old Primordial's. I even noticed Ashley next to me with Hemera. Than I noticed a Primordial that looked like Connor shake hands with him, Chronos I heard was his name.
"You've done us proud." Caos said. All the old heroes agreed. "Now kids we must go. I'm sorry for my father he was... Lost. But you had to do the right thing. Even I would've done that he was no longer himself. But until next time kids you've made us proud. Live your lives to the fullest and remember what you've done here today.
You shall be remembered for all time. But live your lives with love, compassion and the brotherhood you have. Goodbye children."
Each Primordial faded away. Caos was the last to go as he smiled at me. The land itself than healed and the dead came back to life. I saw a glimpse of Michael in the clouds. He smiled at me and than flew away.
"So what do we do now?" Cayden said.
"Now we do what Caos said to do." I said as I put my arm around Ashley and kissed her. "Let's go guys."
We all walked into the city together and were greeted with a cheers and loved ones. Charles reunited with his family and we did the same to ours.
A courier for the mobs came a few hours later and asked for the bodies of the Titans. They wished to dispose of the dead. I agreed to this and sent the bodies to where the mobs were. I knew this would not be the last I saw of them but I had just finished a war a few hours beforehand so I was kinda tired.
I was getting ready for the festival in the next week. As a celebration of the end of the Titan War. And a sign our hardships were not for nothing and that it was over.
