Welcome to my diary, My name is Linzi and I'm going to tell you a story about how my dream came true. It all started when I was listening to the radio in my living room, I was listening to 'Quit Playing Games' by the 'Backstreet boys', at the end of the song the radio DJ announce a competition, the prize as to win a whole week with the Backstreet boys. As soon as he announce that there was going to be a competition I entered their number into the phone, so as soon as they asked the question I could just press and button and it would immediately go through. The question came up, it wasn't a difficult question. The question was Where about's were the boys born, you had to name the city and the state. And that was easy. So I picked up the phone, as soon as I had pressed for it to dial, it started ringing. I was in hysterics, the radio was still on in the room.
Someone picked up the phone. "Congratulations you have been entered into the competition please stay on the line." Then the radio DJ's voice was heard. "We've had tonnes of calls through to here, but I'm sorry to say that the lines are now closed. Okay so who do we have on line one?" I answered my name. "Now can you tell me the answer to the question? I'll give you a recap in case you've forgotten. The question was which places in America were each Backstreet boys born, name the state and city?" it was my turn to answer. "AJ comes from South palm beach, in Florida. Nick comes from Jamestown, New York. Brian and Kevin were both born in Lexington Kentucky. And Howie was born in Orlando, Florida." "Congratulations you've just one yourself a week with the Backstreet Boys." As soon as he said that I just screamed my heart out. "Thank you very much." I said, I screamed again. I was allowed to take a friend with me, so I chose my friend Jenny. And that's how it all began. Got to go, I'll write more when I'm with the guys' bye.

We're at the concert hall waiting to be introduced to the boys... I am so excited. To finally meet the band I have loved for so long and to meet Brian Littrell is my ultimate dream come true; I just hope I don't come across being too much of a fan, which would be embarrassing. We're stood in a hallway waiting for the boys to finish rehearsal. "Oh my god, they're just through there." Said Jen with a grin. "And I was worried about acting like a mad fan... but it is unbelievable, they are through those doors." "Okay girls, they guys will be out in a while. I'll introduce them to you, then you'll be going off to have lunch." "Wow, that sounds really cool." Said Jen with an even bigger grin.
A while later the doors open and one by one the guys follow each other out. "Hey guys, I'd like you to meet you're competition winner. This is Linzi and her friend Jennifer." "Hi." Said Howie. "Wow, it's great to finally meet you. We've been looking forward to this all day." Said Kevin. "I've been really scared." I said with a smile. "There's no need to be, we'll all keep you two safe." "I was actually scared that I'd pass out or do something stupid and make myself look like a crazy fan." "Well you haven't so far." "That's good then." "Hey, I'm AJ. But I guess you already knew that... okay feel stupid now." "Hey girls, so glad you're girls...we're going to have great fun." Said Nick. "Linzi and Jennifer... do you mind if I call you Jen? Makes it easier." "That's okay, everyone calls me Jen anyway." "Cool, well welcome and I hope you don't get too bored. Any questions about things, just ask and one of us will be able to help." "Thank you." I said with an even bigger smile on my face. Couldn't help it, Brian makes me go all gooey.
