Chapter 8

Carter's pov

I look over at the beautiful girl lying next to me I guess the mating bonds getting stronger. I reluctantly get up I hate to leave her side but I guess I will go make her breakfast. I'm not much of a cook but she likes it so I'll make whatever she wants. She's been here for 4 days her birthday is tonight which means she will shift into her wolf I'm nervous she's going to feel the bond between us and I don't know how much longer I can hold off Ash he's getting anxious to get with our mate. Everytime she's in the room with us he goes crazy.

I walked back upstairs she started to move around in her sleep slowly waking up "You okay?"

"Ya fine just worried about tonight" She gives me a sad smile

I got up and started walking towards her "You'll be fine baby" I say and kiss her on the top of her head. She is so nervous about her shifting for the first time I am too of course I don't want to see her in pain but, It will be nice for her to feel the mating bond.

We locked eyes "Thanks babe" she says looking a little bit happier

"Get ready you should wear some loose clothing when you change your clothing breaks. I'll bring one of my shirt for when you shift back" I hate that when we shirt own clothes break but I guess its part of being a werewolf.

I walked down stairs to let her change and to start making food for her.

I turned around to look at her "Hey babe you look good"

I said as she walked down the stairs in nothing but a black sports bra with a wife beater and basketball shorts. Ash was very happy with this 'Mark her' Ash says getting a little anxious to mark her No we have to wait I really don't want to scare her yet 'You better do it soon' he warns me.

She walked up and slapped me

I give her a pretend hurt look "Ow what was that for shorty" I know she hates hate nick name up it fits her so well. She's my little shorty 'And MINE'  fine Ours.

" I know I look terrible you don't need to point it out" She says with a sarcastic sound in her voice

I smirk "Actually I think you look pretty good in basketball shorts" I wasn't lying she looked pretty hot.

"Shut up and give me my food already" She's got a little sass to her but of course I would never say that to her.

"Fine fine your highness" I hand her a plate and bow pretending she's royalty well she is my queen my and my life.

"Thank-you pesent" She says with a laugh

I give her a fake hurt look "Hey you're dating this pesent now kiss me"

"Only for you babe" She says standing on her tippy toes to reach me. The kiss sent sparks through my body I'm already in love with her.

We sat and finished our meal well joking around a little. She started looking nervous I'm guessing about shifting.

I looked over at her "Babe youll be fine I'll be next to you the entire time"

The car stopped and we got out slowly. I looked around this is the spot my parents took me when I first shifted. It was beautiful place we pass a bunch of trees making our way out into the open space it was just me and her.

I looked at her "I want you to concentrate for a moment think of yourself as a wolf"

I watched as I heard her bones breaking and her clothes tearing it was killing me just to watch her in pain. Her wolf was beautiful pure white wolf with blue green eyes it was the most beautiful wolf I've seen.

She looked around for a moment probably talking to her wolf. I shifted into my black wolf 'Hey Cater is this thing working' I heard through the mind link guess she figured that out

'Yes babe now turn around' She slowly turned around 'Your wolf is really pretty' coming from her it was the best compliment I could ask her for 'She likes me'  Ash said proudly.

'So is yours, I like the all white ' It was true she was perfect in every way pure white

'So does your wold have a name to?' She asked me 'Yea his name is Ash'

'She wants to know about me' Ash blurted out in my head go away now 'No my mate wants to know about me' I'll tell her about you later.

'Cool I feel like I need to run do you think we can do that' She asked shyly

'Okay' I replied simply but I was actually really excited to go for a run with her.

And with that we were off running the wind in my fur. We ran around my territory I've ran this path a million times but with her it's different it feels new. I slowed down noticing she was trying to keep up with me.I noticed she looked tired we had been running for 3 hours. So we headed back to where we started.  'Do you want to change back now'  I asked.

'Ya but how would I do that' She asked looking confused

'Alright go behind that tree and envision yourself as a human there should be a shirt behind it' I had placed a shirt there ahead of time knowing she would need to change.

Well she went to go change I grabbed my own clothes to change. I was wearing my basketball shorts when she walked out staring at me.

"That was amazing" She said as we walked back hand in hand to the truck. 'MATE yes Ash I know but I can't mark her just yet' But he liked the closeness between us.

"Do you feel like being closer to me now" I asked noticing she looked more comfortable around me

"Now that you mention yes Lyla was telling me to go closer to you" This made my wolf even happier he started taking over.

"Yea I've been feeling this the whole time it going to be harder and harder for me not to mark you" I said telling her the truth

She looked like she was thinking for a minute "Then why don't you just mark me" she said lowly

"Well if I mark you then you will eventually go into heat and if you don't complete the mating process and I don't want to put you through that pain" I said looking at her meaning every word I said I wouldn't want to put her through that pain so I will wait until she is ready to fully mate

I started driving home "Well I'm ready when you are" Those three words and Ash was taking over she's lucky we just reached the house.

"Are you sure" I ask nervous because Ash will be taking over any moment know

Her blue eyes met mine "Yes I'm sure" She said with confidence

I picked her up she gasped a little bit I started carry her to the bedroom I' just glad everybody's setting up for her birthday party.

I put her down on the bed softly I kissed her with passion we continued kissing but Ash was getting mad so he started playing with the hem of her shirt "Go ahead" She managed to say well out of breath from this kiss 'She doesn't have to tell me twice' I kissed her again as I pulled her shirt off not breaking this kiss. She was in nothing but a black sports bra I held Ash back and started to kiss where I will be marking her. She squeal it's a sensitive spot on a mate. I slowly put my caines into her skin she winces at first but ends up finding the pleasure in it. I lick the spot so it will heal I make my way back to her lips and kiss her. I lay on my side and pull her close she's already asleep it tires both of us out "I love you" I whisper knowing she's already asleep.
