You and I were fire
"TROYE," Logan screeched piercingly ,"I SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE AGAIN!1!"
"LOG U LIL BITCH I WAS GONNA MAKE COOKIES," Troye responded, anger brimming in his voice.
"It's danisnotonfire not loganisnotonfire so gotcha there, buddy," Logan retaliated.
It was the Fourth of July. You and I were, you and I were fire, fire, fireworks that went off too soon.
"WELL HOW IS DAN GOING TO SNACK ON COOKIES AT OUR FOURTH OF JULY BBQ IF YOU BURNED THE KITCHEN, HOE?" Troye yelled, similarly to Miranda Sings during her "Hello" cover.
"YOU'RE NOT EVEN AMERICAN," Logan fired back, letting all of his emotions deep into his voice.
Troye sighed, understanding the truth in his boyfriend's words. Even still, he was excited for the event since it was his first Fourth of July as an official American citizen. The brown haired man soon realized that there was more to this day than Binge by Tyler Oakley, buy at www.tyleroakleybook.com, eating cookies with American flags on them.
I said I'd never miss you but I guess you'll never know.
Troye sighed sand stared and Logan. "Listen," he stared gently ,"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped. I'll go out and buy cookies from The Store™"
"Alright."
"Bye?"
"Bye," Logan deadpanned. Troye searched his color I forgot eyes for any sign of emotion and when he found no traces of anything useful, he left the house and stepped into his yellow bug car because that's the kind of car I want and I'm the author.
Logan looked outside the window and watched the familiar vehicle roll out of the driveway. But the anger at Troye's harsh words resided in his heart, so he tore his eyes away and stomped to the tv where he turned on the Disney channel because Girl Meets World is getting heated.
He had Binge by Tyler Oakley, buy at www.tyleroakleybook.com, watched quite a bit when he realized it had been 4 hours since Troye had departed. Logan peered out of the glass and wondered where he could've gone.
Where the bridges I have burned never led back home on the Fourth of July.
Meanwhile, Troye scratched his head in stress. Mother Nature decided July 3rd would be the perfect time to make it rain, quite literally. Troye sighed, knowing California needed water and that it was mainly due to plot convenience. It didn't help, though, that he had taken to wrong exit back to his house and somehow ended up on a bridge 43 miles off course. The rain poured down as he tried to figure out his GPS.
I'll be as honest as you let me, I miss your early morning company. If you get me...
Logan was starting to get nervous. Troye wasn't home and it had been so long! And he needed someone to vent about Girl Meets Texas part 3 to because, come on that was so forced! He could rant until the early hours of the morning but his Australian bae was no where in sight and he had no one else to talk to.
You are my favorite "what if".
Troye drove past a Krispy Kreme. He was feeling hungry.
You are my best "I'll never know."
Driving to the donut place would only steer him further off track so he signed and continued on his way, passing the chain brand bakery and all the wonders it held in it, the cookies in the back seat only taunting him more.
I'm starting to forget what summer ever meant to you.
Summer was being crushed by the sobbing clouds and Troye was annoyed. Annoyed at the fog for clouding his windshield and making him turn the wrong way, annoyed at Logan for his pyrotechnic failure, and annoyed at himself for not already knowing the route by heart.
What did it mean to you?
Troye mustered up all his confidence and rang up his boyfriend. The sobs he heard from the other end disheartened him as he realized he had messed up. "Logster, bae, what's wrong?" he cooed."I," Logan sobbed,"I was just watching Girl Meets Forgiveness."
"Oh."
"DOES MAYA'S DAD WANT TO CATCH THESE HANDS?" Logan screamed through the phone.
Troye explained why he was going to be late, avoiding any mentions of Log's current emotional state.
Someone thing Logan snapped. "You're late and missed a donut because of me?"
Guilt plagued his mind.
"No wonder you yelled," the blonde continued. "I ruined our whole day."
Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean any of it. I just got too lonely, too lonely, whoa. In between being young and being right, you were my Versailles at night.
"It's okay, baby," Troye whispered.
"But you were right," Logan sighed.
"Of course I was right! I'm also young and hot. But I still shouldn't have been so rude. I didn't mean it."
Logan sniffled, "Ya okay I guess."
"Love you."
"Love you too."
And then Troye hung up.
My 9 to 5 is cutting open old scars.
Logan laid on the couch and thought. I can't think of anything for the plot that relates to this lyric. Too bad!
Again and again 'til I'm stuck in your head.
Logan turned on his phone to blast some swag tunes. Unfortunately, WILD by Troye Sivan™ played first yet he couldn't stop listening until the time refused to exit his head. The angelic voice of his lover only made him yearn for him more.
Had my doubts but I let them out.
The door rang. It couldn't be Troye, he had a key.
You are the drought. And I'm the holy water you've been without.
Logan gasped. It was Troye! "Some storm, huh? It's good for the drought, eh?" His words were answers by a hug.
Both men (if you could call Logan that) hugged and enjoyed each other. Love, dominating every inch of the space in the home.
