Here you go hun, hope you enjoy it xx
I had fun writing it~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The last five years have been absolutely amazing, not only have I been blessed with the love of my life, she also brought with her, the daughter of my dreams. Mikayla and Lilo have made my life worth living gain. Before they came along, I was having a rough time, the boyband I was in, One Direction, had split up, and I was the one that had taken it the hardest. Those boys were my life, they were everything I have ever known since I was sixteen and auditioning for the X-Factor. Now, ten years later, everything was over, and I had no idea what I was going to do, that was before Mikayla found me.
It was a cold, rainy day, and I was just sitting on the bench at my local park, when I heard a female voice, around the same age as me, calling out her daughter name. the little girl, who could be no more than 18 months old, had run into a puddle and started jumping up and down, getting her pants and feet all wet and muddy. "Lilo, it's time to go home sweet, we don't want to getting cold and coming down with a cold now do we," the angelic voice announced. But instead of listening to her mother, the little girls ran over, and attempted to climb onto my lap, making my pants all dirty and soggy in the process.
"Oh Lilo, what are we going to do with you, huh? You have mad this young man all wet and muddy, now he will have to go home and change, so he doesn't get sick too," the young women scolded her daughter.
"Ma'am, it's okay, I'm just glad that she is ok, and you can take her home and get her clean and dry, we don't want this little cutie getting sick do we?"
"No, of course not. Thank you for taking this situation so well, most people would get all flustered and annoyed if a young child came up to them and did what young Lilo here did, I really appreciate it."
"That's quite alright ma'am, I love children, especially the cheeky one's," I responded with a slight grin. I saw by the light behind her eyes as she looked at her daughter, that her heart held the ability to love in great amounts, which is what led me to the decision of asking her out on a date, and now, just over five years later, here we are. Who would have thought that a cheeky little toddler had the ability to bring two people together in a way that Lilo has
Five years after that fateful day at the park, to celebrate Lilo's seventh birthday, Mikayla and I decided to take her to one of the local theme parks. When we got there, Lilo was one of the most eager children I have ever seen, she wanted to ride every ride, get food at every food stall, and take photos with every character there was to take a phot with.
At about 1:00pm, we managed to pull Lilo away from all the festivities, and go to get some lunch, eventually, she decided that she wanted a hotdog, so Mikayla went with her over to one of the hotdog stalls, while I sat with all of our belongings at a picnic table not too far away. Little did we know, that our perfect day was about to come to an end. While Lilo and Mikayla were waiting in line at the hotdog stand, some random guy just walked up to the two girls, grabbed Lilo by the hand, and turned to run for it, absentmindedly dragging Lilo behind him the first thing I knew about this occurrence, was Mikayla running up to me, all frantic, and pretty much screaming at me that some guy had just taken Lilo, before she burst into tears, saying that it was all her fault, and that we will never get out baby girl back. Mikayla was so frantic, that we packed up our stuff, and went straight to the police station to report our precious little girl as missing, completely forgetting about the hotdog we planned to have for lunch.
When we got to the police station, we immediately went straight to the front desk, asking to report our child as stolen/missing. The officer we were talking to asked us to describe our little girl.
"Well, she is about 129 cm tall, she has brown hair," and Mikayla went on to describe Lilo, in immense detail. Once she was finished describing her, we were asked to provide a phone number so that they could call us if she was found or handed in to the station. We went home, and even though Mikayla was still frantic and worries sick, she had calmed down considerably since talking to the police. We sat down on the couch, and tried to relax, all the while, Lilo was still missing and it was in the back of our minds that we may never see our little girl alive again.
After about three hours, about 4:30 pm, and two movies, we got a phone call from the police station, to report there immediately. When we got there, we were taken into a little room by an officer, and were told that someone had found a little girl that perfectly matched our description of Lilo wondering the streets and had brought her straight here. We were excited to finally have some news about our baby girl, because we had been worried sick. We waited patiently as the office radioed to another officer to bring the little girl in.
"Mummy, Daddy," the little girl, who indeed was our little Lilo, cried out as soon as she stepped into the doorway.
"Baby girl, oh my, thank god you're okay, we were worried sick," Mikayla managed to get out, before she burst into tears, and run to hug Lilo.
"Li, I'm so glad you're okay, I don't know what we would do if something terrible had happened to you. My life would be empty without you in my world, you two have become my life, and I can't imagine losing either of you," I whispered into our little girls' hair, as I hugged her too.
"Thank you so much officer we would be nothing without our little girl, and thanks to you we have her back. If I am allowed to be informed, do you know who it was that took our Lilo?"
"Ma'am, we currently have no information on who the kidnapper is, but with the description your daughter has provide us, we should be able to find him we will let you know if we find any new information."
"Thank you, are we able to go now, it's almost time or our dinner?" Mikayla asked politely.
"Of course ma'am, sorry about this whole incident, and I hope that you and your family have a happy future." The police officer answered, and got up to open the door for us to leave.
When we go out to the car, I got into the drivers' seat, and Mikayla and Lilo got into the back seat. I turned to Mikayla, with a questioning look, she never sits in the back seat. The look that she returns is enough explanation, she is overwhelmed and just wants to spend as much time as she can with our precious little girl, so I don't push it any further, just starting the car and driving back to our house. When we arrive home, both of the girls are asleep in the backseat. It is one of the most precious things I have ever seen, so I capture a photo of the two and post it on snapchat with the caption 'My Princess and my Queen xx'
Who knew that an innocent birthday celebration could turn into such an adventure? Nevertheless, everything turned out perfectly in the end, and I can't wait for all the other adventures that our life brings.
