Chapter 1

A flicker of pristine translucent white colours flashed before my eyes. I blinked several times trying to gauge my surroundings. Whilst scanning the environment I noticed a porsche with a huge dent, a woman with deep sea blue eyes and another man holding her hand whilst lying on the floor with his tummy facing the ground - completely knocked out. The next thing I knew, several ambulances flashed red, white and blue and my body finally blacked out.

I awoke at the noise of a plump lady squeezing my hand furiously, muttering "please.. Jessica... Wake up!"

Every few seconds, her silky chestnut hair would rub against my arm, making me giggle. Because I was quite the sensitive lass, even the slightest touch would send chills down my spine.

"Aunt Jayne.. I'm awake now.. You can stop squishing my hand."

At the sound of my voice, Jayne's grip loosened in split seconds as she began to mutter a few words to herself.

"I am never leaving you alone again. Do you hear me?" Jayne began, "after today's incident, you're prohibited from leaving the house without someone accompanying you. Am I clear?"

"Jayne... You know today was just a one off thing. It's not like I have Alzheimer disease or something...."

"Actually, you do. Apparently the doctors say it could be deadly, honey."

A creamy chocolate haired boy with streaks of blonde strolled into the room. His eyes examined mine, staring at me from top to bottom.

"And you are?.."I began
